Bear Like Me Revisited

A New Moon Dawns on Bear this week
Awakening anew a feminine right brain New World

Reach out and cosmically touch someone by hugging soul sister equality
Let us embrace Her power into our politics of living

May we fine tune our mystical vibrations to a celestial D sharp
Let us raise our fists in the spirit of dark yin soul power
Because the energy of this world is too flat without colorful energetic diversity

Introspection looks at intensifying shadowy emotions
That may have been hibernating deep inside your Being
Perhaps deeper feelings have eclipsed our collective consciousness

Simmering issues regarding race and class
Never really went away
They only went into hiding behind a smokescreen of
Political correctness and moderate legal reforms
Playing out in the form of miserly reactive “life support systems”

Race and class consciousness are heating up again right now
After simmering in a soulful slow cooking cauldron

Greece is the new David
Standing Her ground while standing up to a Goliath of an Empire

Economic Hit Men are like rabid wolves on Wall Street
With insatiable appetites for eating too much

But still the truth tastes sweet like honey
And so it shall set you free

See yourself as part of the solution,
Rather than part of the problem

Let the energy of Bear guide you into an infinite realm of alternative solutions
That abound in the Dreamtime

The time is now to weave sustainable equanimity into our waking reality

We all need to cultivate compassion and empathy
And learn how to sustain heartfelt connections with one another

Sometimes we need to adjust our edgy latitudes
To carry out our good intentions
May we allow gentle waters to smooth out rocky edges

Tragedy and pain are unwelcome aspects of Life
Know the security of change and trust in the healing process

“That’s just the way we’ve always done it”
Is like heading bow first into a perfect storm

In these changing times
Relaxation into a New World will come about
When we hoist our sails into peaceful inner waters

See you further on up the trails,

Ari
