Remembering Beaver, Everyday November Gratitude, Reawakening Colorful New Moon Reflections In Sagittarius & Leaving Behind Seasonal Old Selves

Our indigenous ancestors in the Americas saw the late Samhain as a New Year . . .

On November 23, a New Moon in Sag invites intentions for planting seeds of positive self talk.

New Moons are always times of new beginnings and new emotional cycles.

Remember, living a meditative life is not without a key dynamic of everyday Thanksgiving.

November’s Full Moon month has connections to the Energy Medicine of Beaver.

This month is as good a time as any to remember gratitude.

Meditation on Beaver captures connections to the Freemasons,

who were instrumental in the development of both Colonized America,

as well as a powerful totem to Indigenous people beforehand.

Beavers symbolize the ability to traverse both terrestrial,

watery worlds, craft secret tunnels and the awakening of perceptual doors.

The aftershocks of a powerful eclipse season are still pulsating through our energy centers . . .

as are the results from another political election season on November 8th,

which was also the date of the Beaver Full Moon.

At the forefront of contemporary American culture,

we have our attachments to, and preoccupations with winning and losing;

The trick of making politics like sports is the headliner du jour.

But a callback from a Wise Guy worth echoing asserts . . .

“The game we have all bought into is ending.

Monopoly is a game the Future will not understand anymore.

Love not money will save our hearts and souls.

And without our hearts and souls, we cease to exist in any way that truly matters.”

Pre-colonization was a time before humans worshiped the Almighty Dollar.

Instead of a maximum economic profit, a real free market is based on

reciprocity and bartering for mutual exchange.

What would happen if all the capital from Super Pacs, earmarks to lobbyists

and dark Secret Government programs

was instead redistributed into the Constitutional Preamble’s General Welfare?

Power to the We The People!

A New Moon in Sag features an archer that shoots their arrow toward a target through

mutable hybrid eyes of a gypsy, student and philosopher.

Their medicine teaches us to step out of our comfort zones

and experience novel meaning through an expansion of Truth.

Life is a fluid process of impermanence;

an adventurous quest that wins when open to divergent thinking.

The Yin and Yang illuminate dark spots within bright lights;

revealing the totality of life being greater than the sum of its parts.

Surrender the securities of safety in order to take a leap of faith.

But it is also wise to remember that hitting the pause button

can put the brakes on foreboding tragedy.

May we let go of painful parts of our past

so that we can visualize the future selves that we want to see ourselves becoming.

Sag’s Optimistic Thought looks like a mismatch against the realities of everyone’s life.

Humanity has rampant suffering in economic, emotional, physical, and spiritual ways.

It’s hard not to get seduced into our frustrations

and fears inside us and in the environment around us.

May the Sagittarius New Moon offer you A New Hope and bring in a galaxy of abundance

as you reimagine your next next chapter, if you’ll pardon the pun.

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Ari

This Land Is Your Land Revisited

Photo by Nandhu Kumar on Pexels.com

I wrote This Land Is Your Land Revisited about a decade ago. It was first published by the http://www.spiritualrenaissance.com/index.html in their old publication. As a musician, I am a late bloomer, and very much an amateur. My dream was to learn how to play the guitar, harmonica, and sing all at the same time, in a way that would breathe life into my poems. After another back injury, I decided to pick up my guitar (given to me by one of my mom’s old boyfriends), and put myself through the learning curve as a way to cope with the pain, and heal. It wasn’t easy, but I kept at it as another form of self expression, and strategy for wellness as a way of life. Also, there is an old story that says that every song originates from a folk song. This Land Is Your Land Revisited is based on the old Woodie Guthrie classic. You’ll recognize the first verse as his, and the following verses as mine. You could say that he’s part of my spiritual light team, and I find his energy inspirational.

This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York island
From the Redwood Forest to the Gulf Stream waters
This land was made for you and me.

This land is your land, this land is my land
From our Lost Wages to the stock exchange
From the cookie cutter suburbs to the water treatment plants
This land was made for my SUV.

This land is your land, this land is my land
From corporate propaganda to the Woodstock Nation
From the self-evident truths to expanded consciousness
This land was made for Liberty.

This land is your land, this land is my land
From crafty politicians to fortune telling
From intellectual constructs to intuitive understanding
This land was made for reciprocity.

This land is your land, this land is my land
From telepathic communication to respecting diversity
From free for service economies to dreaming a New Dream collectively
This land was made for Aquarian Unity.

We Are Only One Song Away From Spring

Photo by Simon Migaj on Pexels.com

For those of us that are looking through the spotlight of mindfulness, we can see that the old world and paradigm is fading further into the backdrop of our rearview mirrors. Looking back, the Trump presidency is officially over, but not forgotten. A new administration is establishing itself. Tis the season for the transition from the winter to spring spiritual saying, out with the old in with the new. If you were someone who got caught up in the good vibes of the election’s outcome, and predicated your cheer on a coveted new regime, you know that it didn’t take long for the chattering monkey mind to start up again with its negative self talk. But from a big picture/astrological lens, we know that we are shifting from an old Pisces Age that lasted a couple thousand years to a new Aquarian Age that will last for a couple thousand more. For we humans, a New Earth is awakening before our eyes. Diversity in Unity is front and center now as we move further into this New Age and Paradigm. 2021 will be breathing in more winds of change into the airways, as the rising tide is unstoppable, and inevitable. As we have discussed, we are in the birth canal, and the labor pains are being felt by all of us. Accordingly, we are all operating at different levels of consciousness. As such, we process these experiences in our own unique ways.

The formidable military-industrial complex will continue to crumble, but will not go without resistance. Remember that the dominant majority prefers to go unexamined. That is being challenged more loudly by way of the silent majority becoming less silent. As we gaze upon the chimes of freedom flashing, equality, and power to the people are becoming sentimental amplifications. White supremacy, and white privilege are being acknowleged, and examined in unprecidented ways. But keep in mind that most people who voted for Donald Trump are not Nazis, Klan members or racists. And yet they, like the rest of us have been programmed by a segregated, and divisive mindset that tries to seduce us into a cultural war of an us versus them mindset. Trumpsters just tend to be more in alignment with conservative-republican oriented values, which are not inherently right or wrong, just as progressive-democratic oriented values are not the only way out of the woods either. What is more, there are conservative factions in both the democratic party and the republican party. It is the nature of conservatism to resist change, and want to return to more traditional values. In actuality, it is natural for all systems to resist change, inevitable as change is. While I appreciate the gravitational pull of conservative mediumship, please remember “you can’t kill Aquarius.” Does it not appear that rank choiced voting must have its merits when the elites of the traditional two party system are outspoken against it?

More importantly, it is a new hope to perceive the new administration as bringing in “more peace, more connection, and less narcissism” into the political arena. The politics of Diversity in Unity underscores the individual person balancing their authentic selves with the unity of group consciousness. In this awareness, we respect each other for our differences in a way that facilitates unity. For example, the heart of Black Lives Matter is about being pro black, not anti white. It is about leveling the playing field to say that black people are entitled to the same human rights as everyone else, and should be treated with the same dignity and respect that all human beings deserve. The same holds true for Indiginous People’s rights, Women’s rights as well as LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, and people affected by poverty. Regardless of your status, it is empowering to stand in your own personal authority, find your voice, and speak your truth. It’s when we get identified with our postions, develop an attitude about them, and forget to be mindful of our own projections that become part of the problem rather than being part of the solution.

Furthermore, from a multidimensional perspective, a growing body of research is revealing more evidence of the existance of UFOs and the existance of extraterrestrials. Moreover, there is an increasing reporting of evidence by the mainstream media that corroborates the informational disclosure process. Try to realize that the disclosure about the truth about UFOs and extraterrestrials is less about a single event, and more of a process. These days, it isn’t always easy to discern between what is human made technology versus what comes from another planet. Interestingly, the forthcoming astrological eclipse season in November/December 2021 is reportedly the same as when the Roswell incident took place back in 1947. Following whatever really happened in Roswell, reports of similar incidents skyrocketed, if you’ll pardon the pun. It wasn’t that we hadn’t experienced foreign visitation before, but the reports of unexplained phenomena in this area proliferated significantly, as well as the subsequent cover ups and secrecy. While the reality of this information is mysterious, there does appear to be a relationship between humankind’s development of atomic energy, and creation of nuclear weapons on Planet Earth. At least a faction of ETs appear to be concerned with humanity’s destruction of our Mother Earth, coupled with an intention to help wake us up to taking better care of ourselves, and our home. Ponder how what happens in our dimension might affect what happens in other dimensions. Is their plan for us a form of Divine Intervention?

Additionally, communication through I-messages or feeling statements is not something that can be argued with when it comes to standing in your personal authority, and speaking your truth. According to Sacred Geometry and inspiration by the Arcturians, “the energy of communication makes you aware that you are able to communitcate with your body, thus understanding its signals and solving discomforts. This energy brings your body and your spirit in deeper contact with each other.” For example, if someone calls you crazy because you say that you believe in aliens or makes a racial epithet as a way to make you feel inferior about yourself, then you have the assertive right to say, “I feel offended by that comment.” After that, you can stand by your statement without feeling like you have to argue or defend your position. Nobody can argue with you about your feelings because they are yours for you to own. Or maybe you’re just a bystander, and are being invited to tune into how the said comment makes you feel intrinsically. Perhaps you now feel called to stand up for someone else by being an ally to them.

Finally, a Full Wolf Moon arrives on Thursday, January 28th. Full Moons are a powerful time to charge your items of power, like crystals, rocks, and water by leaving them underneath the moon’s magical energies. The Imbolc aka Groundhog Day arrives on February 2nd. Groundhogs symbolize death without dying. Not coincidentally, this is the approximate mid-point between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. Thus, the rising light of spring seedlings are firing up underground, even though it is still cold outside. If you tune in, you can feel their stirrings. “Meditation on the in between times, mystical, mysterious energies, inner planes, echoing silence, void, and heartbeat” are good callbacks to tune into. Consider following the KISS (keep it simple sweetheart) model. Spiritually, Groundhog symbolizes death without dying, death of the old self, and the perception that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Remember that you can’t get to the light if you are not willing to go through the dark. The darkness, yin or turning inward into feminine energy is not something to be feared or demonized. It is something to be empathically curious about or a journey of awakening that wants to come out into the sunlight.

MLK Meditation On Buddhist Psychology & The State of Current Affairs to Remember

By grasping onto any pleasant feeling tones,

and trying to make them stick around,

our disappointments, and resentments will surely follow.

Like when a formerly positive vibe was once experienced as an old friend or relationship

that has sadly turned into a dark edge that was misled down a black hole.

Sometimes, we forget that we are all rivers of passing emotions

instead of  icebergs of unchanging feelings.

That is where monolithic rocks of rigidity remain.

We may climb those rugged mountains, but if we cling to them,

then they will become the dirge of our identities.

Perhaps the gentleness of a deer will guide us into

an intrinsic adventure in mindfulness that is worth self exploration.

Beware that following the yellow brick road is not a

destined cure for unwanted feelings, emotions or everyday pain!

The journey in healing is a process of alchemy

rather than a coveted destination.

When we are watching the unfolding situational screenplay of life,

we can see that our different strokes are not all good times

because the facts of life and family ties

are really just everyday moments at the office

that aren’t always easy to make friends with.

It can be especially hard to say cheers to the unpleasant or neutral feeling tones.

With all the distractions of the world of 10 thousand things,

it is hard not to cling to the wanting of

attention seeking, an escape or being entertained.

Sometimes, boredom is viewed as an enemy,

as is the fear of missing out (FOMO).

Has this pandemic revealed your fomophobia?

Rather, being awake is merely a process for dreaming a new dream,

and sitting with what is.

In this realm, we are allowing for fluidity, mutability,

and an open passivity with the changing seasons of life.

Remember that without the cold, dark days of winter,

there would be no sunshine and rainbows.

Or without the disappearance of a warm summer breeze,

there would be no colorful foliage to peep at.

You can’t have death without rebirth

or get to the light without venturing through the dark.

Having an appreciation for the widespread panic of

sarcasm, sardonic humor, or grumpy complaining

is different from justifying their sharper edges,

or condoning mood driven attachments to their energies,

and becoming identified with them.

Like any attachments, our judgments can become security blankets,

that manifest into memes of our own projections,

as well as other forms of suffering.

In the spirit of that . . .

When we reflect on the solidaridy and soul power of MLK Day,

may we be inspired to raise our fists, acknowledge the reality of our own fears,

and step into them with a compassionate activism of empathic courage.

Till we tweet again peeps,

Coping with Climate Change, and The Transition Into A New Age and Paradigm.

If you are paying purposeful attention to the plight of humanity today, perhaps you might notice a popular pandemic beneath the viral headlines. From a spiritual perspective, human suffering is largely due to people stopping at their judgements, hiding behind them, and frequently perceiving themselves as either inferior or superior to someone or something else. We all have our talents and struggles. But on a soul level, none of us are any better or worse than anyone else. We all have our issues, and are working out our own dharma. Problems arise when we get identified with our judgments, make our positions the absolute right positions, and then justify our positions by reinforcing them with sophisticated arguements in our minds that build cases against any other viewpoints that appear alternative to our own.

We see this play out when children fight over a toy when playing together until they are confronted by an adult’s intervention. And then typically the child that took the toy from the other child justifies why they took the toy in the first place, therefore making it right, and bypassing any guilt or shame that should be examined on the inside. That’s mostly why humans lie and deceive at times. As adults, most of us have become quite sophisticated at this skillful avoidance tactic, often acting out these nuances in our fantasies, and also sometimes concretely in our relationships. But in reality, this is just the anxious little voice of the ego that is also known in Taoism as the Chattering Monkey Mind. It can become a storied arrogant bravado, as its hubris makes convincing arguments that perceive itself as always right, by acting as judge and jury, case closed. It’s hard to argue with that or peer behind the curtain, beyond the masterful illusion. Besides, there’s no illusion if you don’t see it for what it is.

I remember when I was in High School, I had become quite adept at constructing my own concrete reality in my mind that felt safe to me. Whenever I felt threatened by someone else’s position, I would end an argument by saying something like, “you know I’m right”, and walk away from the interaction feeling like I won. Boy, was this ingratiating to my ego. As if communication in relationships should be competitions, where there is a winner and a loser, and one side walks away with a trophy. Pretty silly, and embarrassing, but many people still buy into this form of propaganda, and align with the dangerous ‘cult of personality’ that spreads vis a vis a pandemic of mis/disinformation, like the wildfires out West. It doesn’t matter if you live in a dictatorship, capitalist, socialist society or the Land of Honah Lee. Here in the US, we have capitalism and socialism, where the private sector’s goal is to make money, and medicare that’s designed to take care of people’s health needs. The stupidity of the arguement is a failure to value that both of these subsystems want to expand. Moreover, the fighting about justifying that one side should be held back, while the other should move forward trumps equitable solutions. The truth is that there are enough resources for both, and we can all win. We know from the Law of Attraction that abundance abounds. It isn’t that the lower self isn’t real. It’s just that the Higher Self is more real. The illusion of polarity is healed and dissolved from this perspective. You can’t see that when your blinders are on, and so rigidly clinging to the righteousness of your attached position.

Take a look at the significance of the myriad of thought forms that are circulating in our individual and collective habituated minds. We are creating our beliefs from within, and they are reflecting back to us from our outer world. Many human relationships, including close friendships, are frequently based on unconscious agreements that are motivated by guilt, and an underlying fear that if certain expectations aren’t met, then the relationship could fade into the backdrop, or is maybe even doomed to end. Think about the ‘fear of missing out’ (FOMO) phenomenon that has become a very real experience, and part of many people’s suffering. Rather than speaking our truths authentically, people will give up their power to protect someone else, in an effort to keep the relationship on life support. The internal commercials we buy into go something like this: Well, if I don’t give such and such to my friends, then maybe they will be mad at me, hold a grudge against me, and unfriend me on social media or not invite me to the next party. If I don’t give so and so a Christmas card, then maybe I’ll be off their list. If I don’t suck it up and go to a social gathering, then maybe I’ll be deleted from my friend’s contacts, or a circle of friends group. And maybe you aren’t overtly excommunicated by your congregation, but maybe a lot of pretending that nothing is going on, or people don’t say anything at all, talk behind your back, give you that fake reptillian smile or a furrowed brow next time they see you.

Nobody likes being left out or excluded. But what about when you are leaving yourself hanging out to dry by avoiding personal growth, and nurturing your soul’s evolution? Authentic relationships, and friendships understand that there are times to hit the pause button, and allow people to be where they are at, and who they are. The Higher Self doesn’t live in the realm of tit for tat, or I’ll scratch your back, you scratch mine. It’s not about the ritual of gift giving, or proving your love to someone or something. Sometimes, embodying the Universal pillars of Love and Truth is a selfless act of giving another person space, coupled with a self-care act of just being with yourself. The old world paradigm might make for an entertaining Game of Thrones, but it isn’t sustainable or rewarding on a deeper, intrinsicly soul level. Reciprocity is a different way of making connections, and engaging with our human family. There is a way to connect with your own soul, and another soul without any strings attached, or any sense of expectation. We can do this in judgment free zones, and by listening on a level that goes deeper than words, and even beyond attached emotions. Some call this form of empathic listening ‘tuning in’. It is possible to give freely without resentment. It might mean that you give yourself space back to yourself, picture your own inner nobility or the inner nobility of another that could be the target of your disgruntlement, and meditate on that. And if you feel that you are giving in a way that is leaving your feeling resentful, inserting yourself into someone else’s affairs, needing someone else to insert themselves into yours, or finding yourself being seduced to do so or get sucked into someone else’s drama, then maybe you are being invited to examine something deeper going on inside of yourself.

On a larger scale, keep in mind that the global chaos on the planet right now is really challenging the order among our human family, and in society at large. This is part of the transition process from leaving an old paradigm behind, and moving into a new one. I know it is challenging not to get sucked into the chaos, conspiracy theories, or ‘cult of personality’ that we already spoke of. But try to remember that we are spiritual beings having human experiences. On a deeper and higher level, our souls want to be freed from this bondage. The entanglement with our attachment to form is part of our alchemal process that we are meant to relax and let go of. It doesn’t mean you are above the pandemonium or that you don’t feel the pain and suffering of humanity deeply in your bones. It just means you don’t allow yourself to get sucked into the hellish drama of it all. Do whatever you can to connect/ground yourself to this earth, find gratitude in your heart, discover inner peace in your being, and remember to just breathe. You got this. We got this.

Till next time,

Ari

Squirreling Away Our Acorns for Leaner Times Ahead

Images Created by Aunt Barbara Merlotti

A Full Corn Moon reveals its harvest in the skies on September 2nd, 2020, followed by a New Moon in its wake on Thursday, September 17th, and the Autumn Equinox on Tuesday, September 22nd.

Daylight is waning in the Northern hemisphere these days, as is brighter hints of fall in the air, and as seen on the leaves.

Can you hear the acorns dropping from the trees, and popping onto the ground?

Do you appreciate the beautiful rainbow spectrum of foilage on the trees, and the colorful shades of hues that decorate our human family?

Light and dark will be equal again on the Autumn Equinox, and then the dark will rise till its climax on the Winter Solstice, the darkest day of the year after the election and eclipse season are over at the tail end of December.

What new suprises are awaiting us between Tao and Zen?

When I think about squirrels, I am inspired about what they do with their nervous energy. I like the way the channel their chi in ways that find balance between work and play.

Squirrels have an intelligence about them that just knows what to do right now so that they have enough supplies gathered for food security for leaner times ahead.

They seem to know how to have fun in spite of how busy they are right now.

If only we humans can remember that during this season of transition, in our back to school, back to business mentality in schools, and other workplaces.

And even thought they often forget where they bury their acorns, they trust their sense of smell to guide them to dig into the earth to shed light on the mystery of their forgotten fruit.

How they don’t lose their minds, and go nuts in the process is beyond my human comprehension.

Seems to me that our world could stand to learn from our fellow spirited woodland creature friends.

Squirrels show us that they have their own rainbow of diversity. Red squirrels are smaller, but more brazen, vocal, and animated in their approach. Gray squirrles aren’t particularly quiet either, they don’t like strange squirrels, and they aren’t afraid to speak up on that.

But there is an old world respect of the rules that they play by that we humans can stand to adopt, nurture in our own doings, and coregulation with one another.

Black Lives Matter and Me Too are merely accentuating the power of that sentiment, just like a black panther captures the magic and mystery of the primal forces that awaken within the depths of the unknown.

It is a tragic and sad day when another black person dies at the hand of an unfair and unjust playing field that leaves all lives strangulated whether realized or not. It is a suffocating feeling, people are tired, and have had enough. The looting and rioting are chaotic manifestations from that anger.

Preschoolers notice differences but do not judge those differences as better or worse. We are taught to do that, and you begin to see prejudicial thought forms developing by Kindergarten.

Move beyond your judgments and see historical context for what it is. We have all been deceived to buy into a segregated system of us and them.

You may have had the good fortune to have been taught that you can grow up, overcome any obstacle, and be whoever or whatever you want. Perhaps the shade of your skin was not really a factor in that belief because you were raised by well intentioned parents to be colorblind.

But the reality is, that for black people, indiginious people, and people of color, particularly in America, that has not been their experience, from the eyes of the dominant majority or mainstream cultural norms.

Yeah, we’ve made progress, but we are still carrying the luggage passed down to us from our ancestors. The cycle of poverty and mental health issues are also part of that baggage that needs to be released and let go of.

The soul power of these movements represent shifts toward equanimity within our human family, and reflect the universal pillars of Love and Truth.

Especially now at the tailend of one age, while coming out of the birth canal into a new one.

The Virus has been a catalyst to challenge our modern day human paradigm in ways that reveal how isolated and disconnected we can feel from one another, and the world around us.

But then again, that is something we have needed to come to reconcile inside of ourselves.

Because the truth is, led by the power of love in our hearts, is the wisdom to know that we are never really alone.

The feeling of separation is part of our suffering. The way out of this suffering is to find the courage to step into our fears, and trust that we are all connected in unity, regardless of our diversity.

Empathy, sensitivity, and an appreciation for our different ways of seeing the world are good for us to work on, and play with in our consciousnessness.

That doesn’t happen if you aren’t willing to self-reflect about your judgments or take inventory of your thoughts and emotions.

It doesn’t happen if you don’t dig beneath the surface of your anger, or look beyond someone’s behavior to see the whole person that might have been hidden from your initial, cursory glance.

An American election is coming that faces a divided nation.

A radical political action that I take is to see the inner nobility of someone that I am struggling with inside of myself.

And then, I focus on gratitude for the presense of whomever I am targeting as the focus of inner nobility of that person.

President Trump is a good example for many of us on the planet to focus on our suffering that way.

As challenging as it might be for you, see his inner nobility, and focus on gratitude for his presense in your life.

This is easier to do with someone you like, and you know cares about you.

There are a lot of seductive conspiracy theories out there that are part of the fake news that flood the corporate media.

I heard a real humdinger recently, the one about The Donald being a light worker in disguise.

As ridiculous as that sounds, the point of namaste is to see the light in another person that also resides in you.

You don’t just do that with people you like or agree with politically.

The real challenge is to love everybody.

Like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

We should heed his wisdom, and bring back the spirit of his teachings in our everyday affairs.

A Full Sturgeon Moon, Dragonfly, and a New Moon Shines in later August.

Artwork designed by my aunt Barbara Merlotti

A Full Sturgeon Moon is happening on Monday, August 3rd, followed by a New Moon in its wake on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020.

Sturgeons are tough fish that can outlive centurian humans by many years, can grow to 20 feet, and tip the scales at nearly a ton. They are the largest freshwater fish, and have especially thrived in the American Great Lakes.

Their peak catch is traditionally in early August, which is in alignment with the harvest of plentiful seasonal crops that are on their way. As such, their energies reflect abundance that want to yield to your bounty.

For these reasons, meditation on the energy of sturgeon can help you build resilience in challenging times, particuliarly in preparation for darker days ahead, and also while diving into the deeper waters of Climate Change.

Remember that we will be experiencing another intense astrological eclipse season in November/December, along with the Winter Solstice, the darknest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

The old world that is fading into a black hole, like your old self, is dying. As such, they are undergoing a funeral pyre. At the same time, a New Earth is rebirthing, as is your new self that, at a soul level, wants to align with this transformation during this rebirth.

Movement with these shifts, paying purposeful attention to the signs and synchronicities, taking note of the writing on the wall, will reflect powerful personal spiritual growth in your life.

Truth will be recogognized over harmony in your minds, but not without the balance of love in your hearts. They need to dance together in your soul, like the yin and yang, light and dark, masculine and feminine.

The Age of Aquarius is upon us, and the light of a New Age and Paridigm is impossible to ignore and resist now.

Some people fight tooth and nail to keep the blinders on, which of course reflects hellish nightmares of suffering. These are attachments that need to be released, and let go of. They need to be released and let go of on a personal and collective level.

Black people, women, LGBTQ, Indiginious people, and anyone else that has been oppressed have had enough. No more band aids to quell their desire for liberty, justice, and equality. Gone with the wind are the times where some people are entitled preferential treatment over others, and expected to stay in the lines.

The problem with the exclusive club of deep pocketed people who have access to material power and control systems, like Donald Trump, and Congress, are that they profit off of the ignorance of their supporters. And that isn’t right.

But you can’t point out the Emperor’s new clothes to the people who are enchanted by his seductive spell. And if you come at those that parrot the party line with hate, you only energize the charades they play into.

Now is the time to build more self-care into your daily routine. Casting out this line of intention, and reeling its committment will assist you in lean times.

For those of you who have watched the dazzling movements of dragonflies, don’t they remind you of the seemingly impossible ariel flight patterns of UFOs? Hummingbirds do that too.

Yeah, there is a lot of fake news out there. Evidence of creatures from other planets visiting us in no exception. But more evidence of the truth of extraterrestrials, and their advanced technologies, including those technologies that we have coopted is on its way, and will become harder to dismiss or ignore.

We are sitting on that technology that can leapfrog us out of the dirty energy mess that pushes us toward more war, and exacerbates Climate Change.

Instead of weaponizing, and profiteering those technologies, they can be used for clean energy that can help heal our planet, and level the playing field.

Consider inner peace as a state of consciousness. It’s easier to go with the flow when things are going your way, as following your bliss feels more natural.

But when you feel triggered by someone or something, it is so much easier to be ejected from the seat of inner peace, and become seduced by anger, other unwanted negative emotions like disappointment, and a botched sense of expectation.

And then comes the slippery slope of getting into past scripts, feeding an attitude about someone or something, and building resentments.

Now is a great time to focus on the spirit of Dragonfly to guide you into the magic of emotional regulation with yourself, and coregulation with someone else that you are having a disagreement with, instead of going to war with them.

If you are willing to look beyond the smokescreen, and peer beyond the veil by having an open head and heart, then you will see things as the really are. And that will set you free.

You can lighten up your energy field with the medicinal properties of Dragonfly, as well as color your vibrations with truth in your minds, and love in your heart.

Till we tweet again folks,

May This Full Flower Moon Awaken the Fragrance of our Collective Air

Some of our ancestors called this Full Moon a Full Flower Moon
because many spring flowers are blooming around this time.

A New Moon arrives on May 22nd.

For various reasons, this Full Moon on May 7th is also being called a Supermoon –
the third consecutive one of its kind in 2020.

This threepeat makes for an appetizing prequel to this
Summer’s polyenergetic Astrological Eclipse Season.

They will be arriving on the Summer Solstice in later June.

Energies intensify more than usual around these times.

But this Full Moon is also called the Wesak Full Moon.

This is symbolic of the Buddha’s Light of Compassion that shines brightly
on the consciousness of our planet at this time.

It’s always good to have a compassionate approach.
But especially good medicine when spirits spring out, and up.

Do whatever you can to ground yourself, so that
your feet stay anchored into the Earth.

In the Northern Hemisphere of the Americas,
many of us remember learning the mantra:

April showers bring May flowers

Today, it’s especially hard to be a student or work at a school
when school isn’t in session.

Many people are out of work, or being told to stay home.
But how do I make a living? What do I do with myself?

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, we are experiencing great adversity –
humans especially, know calamity on the planet right now.

But there are positive signs regarding the environmental impact
of staying home, and consuming less fossil fuels on our ecosystems.

I’m hearing students, and coworkers say that they miss being at school.
This is coming from people that you don’t typically hear express those sentiments.

And I’ve heard stories about areas in the Himalaya’s
that you couldn’t see a month ago.

Reportedly, skies are clearing to show their beautiful vistas
to the world again in that location.

As if we needed any proof that fossil fuels
don’t adversely affect humans, and all Earthlings!

They certainly aren’t good for the multidimensional Universe either.

What you can do with this adversity right now,
is allow yourself to awaken to the present moment,
and sit with what is.

You can become mindful of the energy of your thoughts,
and the emotions that connect to those thoughts.

You can become mindful of your breath, replace your fears,
and quiet your chattering monkey mind with peaceful, calming thoughts.

Do this one step, one breath, and one moment at a time.

On the horizontal level, you can play with the forms, including your own.

Get plenty of rest, practice self-care, follow a routine,
nurture your creativity by writing, making art, music
take photojournalistic pictures, drink plenty of water, and eat healthy foods.

On a vertical level, unplug from the gadgets,
travel inside your body into your formless dimension,
and notice what awakens within you in the quiet darkness.

What comes up for you in this empty space?

Can you come down into your soul into this unknowing,
and unmanifested area of you that might want to become conscious?

This is a place beyond ingrained thinking, and robotic habits.
It is a space beyond linear, clock time, and schedules.

Yet paradoxically, you can access this space within the
mundane tasks of your daily routine.

This is where the magic wakes up by allowing your
consciousness to see the light of day.

This is the place where the
darkness of night walks out in the sunlight.

It is a commingling partnership with our masculine, and feminine beingness –
inside of ourselves, and outward bound with each other.

Paddling Through the Currents of Events with the Grace of a Swan

A Full Pink Moon rises in our skies on Tuesday, April 7th.

But as many of you know, you can feel the effects of a hungry, and
digesting moon cycle a few days prior to, and after the actual Full Moon.

As this current pandemic event spreads,
so does early spring vegetation across the fruit plains of the Americas.

It can be hard not to resist the not so grand waters
of these rapidly shifting tides of life.

Navigating mixes messages can be like that.

There are many who just want life to go back to normal again.

Some of these people are the same people who
have been waiting on the world to change.

But without an inner directed focus, and spiritually
driven internal shifts, it will be harder to experience any
transformation of becoming the change you want to see in the world.

Staying put, and remaining at home seems like
an easy enough mantra to follow.

Unless it is not.

We are invited to turn inward, and reexamine everything.

Polluted canals in Venice are clearing up,
and dolphins are swimming into inlets that hadn’t been.

With less cars on the roads, and jets in the air,
the planet can rest, and take a deep breath.

If this isn’t a time of a planetary, and universal deep
energetic spring cleaning, then I don’t know what is.

Like an agitated swan, maybe the current waters of life
are enough to make you hiss.

But upon a deeper reflection, may Swan awaken an embracement of
staying afloat through grace under fire during an Aries time of year.

A New Moon on the 22nd, brings new beginnings, along with the
current spirit of the season right now.

Like the Corona virus, Spring is a season of transition
that is not without its mixed messages.

There are rememberances of the ghosts of winter in the air,
of old ways of doing things, that might conjure up nostalgia.

And there are the winds of change in the air, like other times
in human history where massive changes have taken place.

It’s easy to forget that when we have been conditioned to
buy into the business as usual mantra.

Like the Hopi elders say, we are the ones we have been waiting for.

Consider that, another name for corona is crown.

The crown chakra is what connects us to our universal connection to Spirit.

We are living in a time of our crown chakras waking up on Planet Earth.

While being quarantined isn’t the preferred outcome,
we are being given an incentive to awaken this prophecy.

Further movement into Spring’s outgrowth of energies,
reflects the rising light, peaking on the Summer Solstice in later June.

As light starts moving downhill after that, will we see
the darkness of this current pandemic clear up?

How will we all continue to respond to its aftershocks,
readjustment, realignment to a new normal way of being?

With the winds of Climate Change picking up, we do have the opportunity
to come down into our souls, and be in our hearts with each other.

We are being prompted to let go of our attachments to our
deeply engrained habitual distractions that have kept us
sufficiently medicated on life supports.

The present moment contains all that is.
You can heal the past, and create a new future trajectory.

This is authentic power, and you can step into your
power at any given moment.

One step, one moment, one breath at a time.

This can become your new reality, and your new habit
of sacred ritual.

Mindful walking, breathing, and way of doing things
shifts your experience with reality, as does the
reality around you changes.

The Tides of March, and A Full Worm Moon

I remember when Hawk flew-over
the trails on the last New Moon.

This reminded me about them being symbolic of new beginnings,
and sacred connections with New Moons, Hawk and Mercury.

Mercury in Retrograde springs forth relationships from our past
that often circle back to the present.

Sometimes, these reunions revisit us in a variety of forms of phone calls,
post cards, letters, emails, or other virtual social media platforms.

Or they might come in the form of dreams, visions, or memories of
someone you might not have known back in the day, or even in the flesh.

The point is we are given opportunities to revisit, and rework old
patterns so that we can release old ways, and rewrite new scripts.

But pretty soon, a Full Worm Moon will be in effect on
Monday, March 9th, and then Mercury goes Direct again.

On the day before that, Daylight Saving Time begins,
signals the call to the light.

As the fog lifts, and the skies clear,
may red breasted robins remind us that the early bird gets the worm.

Can you feel the winds of change whistling to you in the air?

Our days are getting longer, which tends to
spring forth an outgrowth in spirits, and budding energies.

And then, Yin and Yang will be equal again on
the Vernal Equinox on the first day of Spring on March 19th.

This is a time when Nature shows us equality
between masculine and feminine energies.

The Yin and Yang are always in flux,
as the one constant in Life is change.

We are in a Pisces time of year, which is a good
time to meditate on the water element,
and the fishes of the sea.

Have you ever noticed that fighting against the current leaves
you feeling more submerged underwater, than going with the flow?

Meditation on Whale is good medicine to tap into
the heartbeat of the planet, remember our history,
and know where we are going.

These great creatures have a living memory, and crystalized wisdom
that we might as well heed, and respect.

Like it or not, we are swimming into the waters of different pods,
and new ways of defining family constellations.

Do you ever wonder why an elderly, Jewish, card carrying Socialist that
hasn’t forgotten about the Civil Rights movement of the 60s,
continues to be written off as an “electable candidate” by
the corporate media, and even liberally-minded voters?

Where does that voice come from that says we can’t afford to
subsidize quality health care, or free college education
for those who want to access higher learning?

Or why the two major political parties
are so against Rank Choice Voting?

Consider that Donald Trump, and his friends in the Billionaire Class
that control the resources want nothing to do with a civically
engaged public because it seemingly threatens their way of life.

This way of life says that your ability to make money makes you better
than those that are not, and it is predicated on property rights, and privilege.

But really, it’s just that they want to control where the
“general welfare” goes, and who benefits from it.

Everything about that kind of thinking is wrong, because what we
are talking about is what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

It is impressive how in the dark people are about where
the money comes from, and where it goes.

That’s why the bulk of the money in the Military-Industrial (Economic) Complex
hides in shadowy “black hole” accounts.

By and large, the Billionaire Class prefers to go unexamined,
and wants to keep it that way.

Like when the white slaves, and black slaves were manipulated
by the slavemaster to believe one was more of an underclass
than the other, and therefore inferior.

Today, the ego of the habituated mind is addicted to
segregated, us and them kind of thinking.

There are those that are entitled to preferential treatment,
and those that are not, says the voice in the head.

But where does that come from?

Perhaps it’s about time that the age old social democratic values that
have been muzzled in this country come out into the sunlight.

Opening up to abundance means that there is enough, and everyone can win.

And if you are sick of getting sucked into March Madness,
and election year politics . . .

Think about the frogs and salamadars finding their way
to vernal pools on Big Night. See them arriving to their breedings grounds,
safe and sound so that we can all carry on our merry way in peaceful coexistence.
