Bear Leads Us Deeply into Our Soul’s Den

We are becoming more introspective Now
with Bear’s medicinal power –
Truth tastes sweet like honey . . .

When we open our eyes . . .
Looking beyond a cursory glance –
Deeper into our soul’s den.

Bear guides us to see . . .
Stillness speaking when quieting our mind to heed its call.

Do you see the many alternative solutions . . .
Abounding in the Dreamtime?
So that we might consciously weave this knowing into our waking reality?

Intuitive right brain feminine energy . . .
Receiving the fruition of our goals with our Third Eye –
Seen first in our imagination
Before we have manifestation.

Weaving spirit into our doings –
Loosens up our entanglements with form.

Allowing our soul’s light to shine on . . .

Fear and resistance dims our souls –
Remembering positive self talk . . .
Digging in to find our self-worth and security within.

Rather than reacting to the business of our outer world . . .
Are you listening to old mental tapes going on in your head?
Are you ready to create new recordings in your mind space?

Meditation on the energy of Bear facilitates inner knowing.

The Point is . . . Porcupine is a Good Reminder that Harmony is a Real Possibility

Imagine a fantastic imaginative conversation between Porcupine and Bear . . .

We are exploring a world where all men and women live in fraternal sorority.

And then we see through a lens of faith and trust that

We are in soulful alignment with Great Spirit’s Divine Plan.

Isn’t this akin to Otter’s medicinal story that we are all friends –

Whilst the idea of enemies is non-existent?

Don’t you know life is wicked good when there is no threat of fear present?

Everyday is an adventurous discovery . . .

When pricked by our modern adult-centric old world

of fear, greed and suffering . . .

No shame is found in bowing out gracefully –

from overindulgence in intensities of intellectualism and seriousness.

Curiosity stimulates our minds and resurrects our souls . . .

Sometimes being present with someone is all we need to do.

In a desire to help, perhaps doing nothing is helping

when our doings might be enabling.

Even a grumpy old bear is inspired by Porcupine’s way

of enjoying playfully childlike games.

Transformation into a New Age and Paradigm realizes the depth of embodying

Mountaintops of love o’er rocks of fear.

The present moment is what it is . . .

Might as well be resourceful and welcome what we need.

When we close our eyes in meditation . . .

We self-reflect into the realm of Spirit and see our own inner tapestry.

A most sweetly sacred and blessed communion with Creator.

Echoing Self-Reflections

Echoes in Earth justice parallels Kindergarten 101 wisdom . . .
Clean up after our own mess!
Stillness speaks when hearing items of power . . .
Heeding the voice of spirit’s assertion, “do your best!”

Checking in with your Higher Self echos alignment with cadence of Spirit Guides.
Life is an open field for manifesting our dreams and visions . . .
But not without discernment before impulsive actions.

Self-reflective examinations ask,
“do whimsical impulses enhance our experiential evolution?”
While sitting with Common Sense conservatism
clears liberal doors of perceptual Infinity . . .

Moving through roadblocks gracefully.
Keeping the faith, while trusting in Spirit.
Waking up expecting synchronicity.
Gently allowing details to work themselves out universally . . .

Reading between the lines, while listening to attached emotions.
Aware that we are aware of our stream of consciousness.
Like watching a movie or listening to music as a detached observer.
Unplugging from little ego to amp up authentic connections . . .

Replacing negative chatter with positive self talk.
Cultivating telekinesis of the character of your inner space.
Developing plasticity of your brain exercises your muscles of intellectual curiosity.

Formation and meditation on chi balls stimulates feelings, while bringing color magic to our world of form . . .

Welcome to the world of inner peace

Reflections Of An Experience With A Spirit Messenger

A part of me died when you crossed
O’er the other side of the veils . . .

In this spirited door-step between space and time,
The curtain between realms are thinning now . . .

I remember a part of my soul that had gone to sleep for a spell.
And then I saw a deer in the woods–
Remembering when I woke up in that moment to new adventures.

Today, I walk in awakening moccasins . . .
On a Universal street in Divine Light of brotherly and sisterly Love.

Tomorrow my footprints . . .
Run with the wind . . .

Into a timeless place called Infinity . . .

Where past, present and future . . .
Coalesce into an eternal moment

Grooving on a rhythmic drumming Circle with Woodpecker

Woodpecker’s drumming conjures up images and visions of our Mother’s changing heartbeat, energetic pulsing and weather forecast. Moreover, their spirited teachings aid us in loosening up our souls for exploration in other realms, dimensions, new vistas and novel experiences. Consuming a spiritual diet of Woodpecker reminds us to “march to the beat of your own drum”. When stillness speaks, we experience an internal rapture that resonates within our souls that sparks a fire in our right brains that lights up an awakening in our consciousness. Staying in the flow of expecting synchronicity, stepping into, accepting the present moment as it is and embracing the unfolding mystery is good medicine for that. This is easier when we feel secure and at peace on the inside or if our surroundings reinforce a sense of comfort. It is more difficult to sustain that place when the outer world looks anything but. The trick in this true wizardry is to sustain this state of consciousness, especially when fear and terror kick in. Woodpecker reminds us that we influence one another’s energy fields with relation to what is going on in the inside of our Being.

Spending time out in Nature and getting in alignment with Nature’s rhythm sometimes feels like an inconvenient truth. What happened to that clear blue sky? Is it too cold, hot or wet? Has globalization, dying trees, poor air quality index or stock market got your hue feeling manic and blue? Of course, it is always most difficult to stay in alignment in a domestic partnership, particularly when we are oriented very differently or coming from different planets. I remember walking on the trails with a student some years ago and he was afraid of venturing further down the trail because he was deathly afraid of ticks. In a space of trust, we empathized with his fear and then recognized that it was actually scarier to avoid our fears than actually face them head on.

In that light, folks in our neck of the woods have felt the experience of terror in Boston hit close to home. It is challenging to remember that terrorism seeks to disrupt the status quo and instill fear and panic in the masses, like the boy’s fear of ticks blocked him from staying connected. Yes, we feel rage and a deep hurt in our soul wherever tyranny exists. But Woodpecker reminds us that even in the wild, there is a drumming that lifts our spirits. Rather than consuming the terror within the terrorists, we need to heed the drum beat that reminds us there are no enemies. Rather than reacting to the spirited energies pouring in right now, may we consciously move with these energies to wake up and know inner peace. In this powerful forthcoming Wesak Full Moon, may we allow ourselves to wake up to the Love and Light that Buddha and Christ illuminate for us to see.

When enough of us sustain this internal martial arts practice, we shall overcome and see the New World being revealed, so within as without. The old world and old ways are hanging by a thread. For many, that reality is alarming. Who will keep us safe and protected? It is becoming clearer we all must stand in our own personal authority by being secure within our own Being and summoning protection accordingly. In the spirit of that, may the energy of Woodpecker offer you powerful protection and guidance as you embark on drumming up a new dream for yourself. There is so much help from the spirit realm waiting for us, if only we allow ourselves to receive. Perhaps it might feel uncomfortable creating space out in Nature. But in that place, we afford ourselves the opportunity to know ourselves on a deeper level by letting the distractions gently pass us by with care.

See you further on down on the trails,

Ari

Weaseling Our Way Through Our Meditations

For many thousands of years, humans following the shamanic path have been journeying to visit the spirit realm to bring back heavenly knowledge into the material realm. We have a Full Moon today, which is a powerful time to use its energies to fill your meditation cup. Try to use its spirited energies for power rather than react to them through force.

*Light incense/candle.
*Start drumming to a consistent beat that feels natural to you. A simple bongo drum works well. Get into a comfortable position, relax and breathe.
*Picture a weasel in your imagination and feel its energy coming into your Being.
*Ask Weasel for any guidance that you feel is appropriate for you. Being specific with your question is helpful.
*Continue drumming for 10-20 minutes and gently allow yourself to receive whatever arrives to you in your consciousness.
*Thank Weasel for its spiritual medicinal offering.
*Remember your callback by opening your eyes and changing your drumbeat. A callback facilitates the transition back into our material reality. A callback can also be in the form of a word or mantra that you prefer. My callback consists of 3 sets of 8 beats, then 3 sets of 3 beats and then 3 sets of 7 beats.
*Record your notes of whatever messages Weasel brought to you. These messages might be in the form of feelings, lyrics, sounds, visuals, smells etc. Let go and gently allow your soul to inform you as you travel along in your walking meditation.
