Thank You For Giving & Receiving

Last week’s Scorpio New Moon took place on November 13th.

As New Moons do, our souls awaken to an amplified time of introspection and reflection.

Because our Qi is drawn inwards,

we are naturally aligned to feel more in tune with our inner world.

New Moons are always a good point in the month to

check in with yourself to see how you are feeling.

Looking back on the last Eclipse season . . .

May we be invited to reflect on how Eclipses are catalysts for a highly transformative time.

Were the first few weeks of November a revealing self portrait

of navigating change and upheaval?

Does your life look differently than it did a month or even a week ago?

Have you observed any power plays coming up in your relationships?

How might they guide you in a way to support your personal growth?

As always, try to be patient and gentle with yourself in the process.

Give yourself time and space to digest all that has unfolded.

Keep in mind the old saying,

you are what you eat applies to the energy we consume in our thoughts.

Mindfulness is about watching our thoughts like clouds, like many of us did when we were kids.

Lots to see in cloud formations.

Everyday living gives us so many moments of being visited by our feelings.

Just be curious about them and try to carry a position of curiosity and empathy.

Our feelings, like anything else for that matter,

are better off not to being seduced by fear or demonized.

Truly, fear is part of all of our lives.

Anxiety is a fact of life that sometimes ignites into panic.

It can cripple us if we let it.

Or we can let it direct the course of our lives if we allow it, or name it, own it,

and then use it as fuel to direct our own chariots.

The Beaver Full Moon will occur on Monday, November 27th.

In the Northern Americas, most trees and shrubs have shed their leaves.

Frost gathers on blades of grass and beavers begin to build their dams before the ground freezes.

Nature is foreshadowing the dirge of Winter and the dark tunnel we are moving into.

Modern society makes it normal to resist this yin-ward train by marketing being up all the time;

emphasizing artificial light, and consumerism on steroids,

like Black Friday and overeating at Thanksgiving.

As a popularly celebrated holiday, Thanksgiving is not without controversy.

Through the lens of Love and Truth, we can acknowledge the mixed and conflictual feelings

and systemic trauma that arrives from Colonization and Occupation.

Indigenous cultures around the Planet are well versed in this reality.

Even the so called White People are descendants

from old traditional ways that are often long forgotten.

Just as an example, the early Christian church wove pagan rituals into the tapestry of its teachings.

We are all Chosen People.

There is no country club that will give you exclusive access or buy you a Stairway To Heaven.

The Kingdom is within and all around you for everyone.

Think about the dimensional shift as movement into

a more horizontal structure than a vertical one.

There’s nothing wrong with an everyday Thanksgiving, or an attitude of gratitude in life.

Spiritually, turkeys symbolize shared blessings, and reflects connections to the Third Eye chakra.

Meditation on the energy of Turkey will help you relax and ward off negative chi,

or even evil spirits if those semantics resonate accordingly.

A vibrational shift into a new dimension happens when we

give thanksgiving to the Universe for the abundance it provides and wants us to tap into.

Till we tweet again,

Ari

A Full Strawberry Moon, Spirit Of Gemini & The Rays Of Summer Solstice . . .

Photo by Susanne Jutzeler, suju-foto on Pexels.com

A Strawberry Full Moon will happen on June 3 or 4, depending on where you are on the Planet. Like all Full Moons, our ancestors named them based on what energies they saw reflecting back to them as humans in the naturalistic environment.

May we reawaken their organic observations from their spiritual fieldwork, rekindle our co-regulative connection with Nature and reclaim divine wisdom from the Heavens.

For example, many Indigenous people from North America noticed the spread of wild strawberries at this time. In China, it is called the Lotus Moon and is also know cross culturally around the Earth as the Garden Moon, Planting and Mead Moon.

And then a New Moon in Gemini will happen on June 18, which reflects changes and spontaneity. May we perceive a safety net when thinking about our feelings and sharing them with others. Meditation on Gemini can support us in expressing ourselves and speaking our truths more effectively right now.

Perhaps we will keep a cool head rather than a cold heart because the latter can discourage others or come across like you are being dismissive of their feelings. Remember that harmony of thinking and feeling is important, although it is not always easy for these areas to align with each other in our soulful dance steps.

Right after the New Moon, the Summer Solstice will happen on June 21st. Energetically, this is a powerful time for manifestation of the new self that wants to grow outward and expand. This time represents peak sunlight because it is the longest day of the year.

Conversely, in the Southern Hemisphere, it will be their Winter Solstice and darkest day of the year. In death, there is rebirth. One way to heal polarity consciousness is to integrate these two opposite sides of the same coin into an aligned perspective of inclusivity and wholeness. If you buy into a membership has its privileges mantra, then what has secured an attachment into your energy field?

Remember the mantra Diversity Within Unity is the new path into a New Age and Paradigm. May we make this transition together as gracefully as possible. Regardless of how you identify- male, female, non-binary, gender fluid, LGBTQ or BIPOC; these are examples of Diversity Within Unity.

We are all part of one human family with diverse expressions. Besides, the psychologist Carl Jung wrote about how every man and woman have both energies flowing within our being. Jung called this experience the anima and animus.

Notice how the light and dark are always seeking balance because we can’t have one without the other. While there is more yang in the sun of summer, there is still a need for the yin-ward femininity of the moon. Without the softness of dark waters, the light would be scorching and blinding.

We are part of the Earth and also part of the Cosmos. Paradoxically, Mother Earth’s dirt is in our bones, and yet there is also stardust in our DNA. As one interconnected family system, may we realign with the rhythms of Nature and reconnect with the sacred ways of our co-regulative connection with the Earth and the Heavens.

Visualize the right and left hemispheres of your brain in fluid communication with each other because this promotes plasticity of the mind. You’ve all heard the saying that there’s nothing more devilish than fixed ideas or mental rigidity. That’s how we awaken to expanding consciousness.

Meditation on the picture above awakens the doubly gentle softness of a snail’s pace, as well as a friendly reminder to be berry kind to your mind, if you’ll pardon the pun.

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Ari

Reflections Of An Experience With A Spirit Messenger

A part of me died when you crossed
O’er the other side of the veils . . .

In this spirited door-step between space and time,
The curtain between realms are thinning now . . .

I remember a part of my soul that had gone to sleep for a spell.
And then I saw a deer in the woods–
Remembering when I woke up in that moment to new adventures.

Today, I walk in awakening moccasins . . .
On a Universal street in Divine Light of brotherly and sisterly Love.

Tomorrow my footprints . . .
Run with the wind . . .

Into a timeless place called Infinity . . .

Where past, present and future . . .
Coalesce into an eternal moment

Father Sky-Mother Earth Meditation

Here is a meditation that helps us integrate the energies of the heavens and the earth into our Being. In this way, we co-create Heaven on Earth by becoming living conduits in this process.

–Find a space outside and get into a comfortable sitting position on the ground.
–Breathe in slowly through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth, while feeling your belly expanding.
–Imagine the energy from the cosmos entering in through a tube in the top of your head (crown chakra) as you inhale.
–Imagine the energy flowing down though your body and exiting your buttocks (root chakra)–with a slight squeeze, as if you are going poop and flushing through a tube into the earth.
–Take turns reversing this process so that your inhalation and energy arrives from the ground up and exits from the top of your head during your exhalation.
–You can also integrate your heart chakra area by circulating the energy to enter and exit this area and work that into the feedback loop cited above.

What do you notice about your connection with Nature after this meditation?

Embracing the Darkness of Night with Panther as our Guide

Barely a cat’s pounce from a New Moon yesterday, we are reminded of how Fridays and New Moons carry “such promise”. Panthers are big cats and their energies reflect an authentic expression of our souls. Spring, New moons and Eclipse Seasons are a time to let go and release old toxicities and breathe in new air and cleaner intentions. It is a time to manifest, get in alignment with Nature and welcome the spirited energies streaming in right now. It is a time to allow the shadowy attachments to doom and gloom gently pass with care, while at the same time allowing the light to illuminate those dark caverns and flower into the light of day. Meditation on Panther aids us in acquiring and accessing the skills to flex our physical, mental, spiritual and psychic muscles and silently pursue our goals. While it is true our World needs more openness and transparency, sometimes being too public about our goals undermines their power and decreases the likelihood for manifestation. Use the rising intensity of this time in Nature’s cycle as mage wind at your back to welcome your goals into fruition. Nature spirits abound right now, so getting outdoors and heeding their wisdom, even in the backyard is good medicine. Boarder and edge areas at dawn and dusk are especially active times to perceive their energies. Consuming Panther medicine invokes clairaudience, sensitivity to touch and sensuality. Given they are members of the Cat family, their energy reminds us of the mystery and magic of everyday life and knowing how to effectively navigate the dark. While there is a reality to a darkness on the edge of town, we also hold into our Being the light of consciousness. In every breath we take, we are mindful of the twilight of night and the breaking dawn of day.

In the paper today, there are tales of our war and wasteful ways. But in this crowded house, there is room to clear and expand. The intensity is rising, giving us a sobering reminder to radically shift gears into the present moment. What would happen if we, in our politics of living, curbed our appetite for destruction and shifted instead to the key of inner peace and unity as a way of life? We have much Karma to clear, particularly in America. In our spring cleaning, we need to dust away our weapons of mass destruction in peaceful and non-violent ways. The “tinder-boxes” of the Middle East and North Korea are brush fires waiting to happen and some are licking their chops at igniting that possibility. But we all have our part to do by clearing our inner pollution by visualizing and holding the feeling inside of our Being that an alternative scenario is preferred and real. Perhaps we are an endangered species. However, we have amazing powers, adaptability and survival instincts at our disposal. Our family system is quite capable of moving mountains together as one. Honoring our Mother on Mother’s Day and celebrate the sacred garden that nourishes our capacity to play with form while we are incarnated here facilitates this process. May we look forward to being fed by the next Full Moon on the 25th of this month. Soon we see the peak of light on the Summer Solstice later on in June.

In our daily ascension onward, may we allow Panther to help us dig our claws into our Mother Earth by reclaiming our forgotten power during our slumber. Waking up to our divinity makes us purr on the inside and radiate that outward for the whole Planet and Universe to receive. True, you can clean your room when you are angry. But you might want to compost the anger into an organic mulch first, otherwise you are likely to pollute the same room that you just cleaned! Panther wakes up our Kundalini ( a.k.a. Libido, Life Force, Chi) so that we transmute our pain and suffering into healing. Connecting with and tuning into the positive mystical vibrations amplifies and resonates our collective souls. Staying in alignment with this energetic pattern will help us wake up our right brains and move further into the intuitive realm of our consciousness. In this space, we envision and co-create realities not otherwise imagined as possible. As the power of the old grid fades, new crystalline grids are rising. There is a primal free energy from the Chakras of our Planet and Universe throughout that we can tap into that flows like an eternal spring. Do not be afraid of the dark. Meditaton on Panther will help you light your way.

See you further on down the trails,

Ari

Turtle Meditation

Here is one possible Shamanic journey that I would like to share with you.  In a watered down sense, the journey process is about shifting our consciousness–merely a perceptual shift, potentially leading us into a transformational experience with reality.  We journey to become more conscious and awake during our travels in our material realm, giving us more power and freedom in our lives.  Journeying and meditation aid us in becoming the change we want to see in the world.  For example, during a journey meditation this week, I encountered a huge whale while swimming as a sea turtle in the ocean.  Although the sight of the whale was overwhelming, I allowed myself to hold a position of curiosity and empathy, while simultaneously realizing that the whale meant me no harm.  Remembering to be conscious of our breathing helps us calm our anxieties and remain in the present moment as it unfolds, but intentionally without projecting spin onto whatever front comes our way.
  • Light incense/candle
  • Start by drumming or rattling to a consistent beat in your sacred space.
  • Picture a turtle in your imagination.
  • Feel and perceive turtle energy in your consciousness.
  • Ask turtle for guidance, let go and then follow turtle wherever it takes you during your journey.  Be sure to thank turtle for its gift to you.
  • Before returning to this reality, it is important to change your beat to a call back for an effective transition.  For example, after 10-20 minutes of drumming, I open my eyes and then hit the drum 8 times for 3 repetitions, then 3 times for 3 repetitions and then 7 times for 3 repetitions to signal the end of my journey.  But your call back can be in the form of a word, a thought or a mantra that works for you.
  • Record what arrives to you from your journey.
