In this Chinese New Year, May Dog Show Secure Tracks

In this waning New Moon and Chinese-Lunar Year . . .

May we allow Dog to guide us with faithful loyalty . . .
Serving as protection us in this 2018 year ahead

Winter is here, but Spring’s beauty is just around the corner

What is real, and what is normal?

Is normality a manic stock market, bloated military-industrail complex,
coupled with a profiling notion that there is winner/losers,
and you get what you deserve?

Does that kind of status quo, business as usual mind-set sound nuts to you?

Can you imagine what our planet would look like without big monied peddled
corporate products, and weaponry that are intellectually
designed with the intent to kill capacity crowds of Earth’s creatures at large?

Talk about wrestling our planetary consciousness into
a body slam that puts global politics in a systemic sleeper hold!

That being said, I can appreciate Dog’s unconditional
patient, and kind understanding of human shortcomings . . .

Regardless of past abuses, dogs don’t stop coming back or
quit teaching us about meditation on trust

It almost makes you think we are descendants of their kind,
and that we have their traits encoded in our DNA

Are we barking up similar trees?

May the energies of an early Spring astrological eclipse season
help you move into the change you want to see in the world!

Won’t be long before masculine/feminine/yin/yang/light/dark
energies are equal again in both hemispheres . . .

Our friends in the South understand Autumn energies are kicking in –
where they will be moving further into the dark

But in the North, we’ll be moving toward the light,
where an action-oriented catalyst provides incentive for crocuses to spring up!

A Full Moonlight Shines on Groundhog and the Shadows of Old Masks

A Full Snow Moon arrives earlier than usual this year . . .

This Full Moon is also a Total Lunar Eclipse
Its energies, like the NFL/Super Bowl hype is performance enhanced!

The Imbolc, or the halfway point between Winter and Spring
also arrives this week, along with Groundhog Day

Our days are getting longer, and light/dark will be
equal again by the Spring Equinox in March

May the spiritual powers of Groundhog’s consciousness
awaken a death without dying experience

Although wearing masks is a natural part of being human,
living authentically means coming out of hibernation . . .

Time to come above ground and leave our shadow selves behind . . .
A Full Moonshine is a revelation into our Higher Selves

Digging deeper into our souls revisits lessons from past selves and before lives
What do those lessons have to teach you in the here and now?

Roosting into a New Year

Last year was the Chinese Year of the Rooster . . .

In that reflection, we are reminded of the truth that if you are focusing
on the real tragedies of last year, then you will accurately see
the glass as half full, if not already empty on the inside and out!

But here’s an optimistic thought . . .

What happens when you look through a lens of Love?

Even if you can entertain the possibility that Rooster
also brought us the Sun, then you can see that consciousness
sheds its light on our planetary darkness

By allowing ourselves to see through the lens of Love,
we are able to call out the light illuminating the shadows

Keep in mind, we are in a Yin time of year
Dark emotions come up, and many souls have left our Home

But water is powerful feminine energy that breathes in
opportunities for creativity and meditative spirituality

Might as well say yes to that, unless you prefer to persist what you resist
That is a choice too, if you so choose!

When we traverse the dark night of our soul
We can come out of the ashes into a New Self

Disguised within every ending, new beginnings are awakening

In a month from last Tuesday’s waning New Moon
We will be tracking the Year of the Dog

Spring Equinox may not arrive till about a
month after that in later March . . .

But energetically, with an astrological spring eclipse season happening now,
a Full Snow Moon at the end of January, and the Imbolc signaling the halfway point
between Winter and Spring on February first . . .

From that perspective, Spring is already in the air!

Will the Groundhog see his shadow on
the resurrection of Groundhog Day?

Buzzing Along During The Sweetness of Spring’s Air

Bees reflect strength in our numbers . . .

Working folks make a difference when in touch with their grass-roots

But souls must be careful not to lose individual identity at the expense
of the rising tide of conformity that gets stuck in hive mentality

It’s easy to foolishly distill complex issues into
simplistic mental compartments of good and evil . . .

Just take a look at the proliferation of
weapons of mass destruction buzzing in secret silos across our planet,

Do you feel the stinging the truth of this kind of stupidity?

Forget about apocalyptic internal nightmares for a moment . . .
Replace these dark storms with a dead calm

Focus on the sweetness of life as much as possible
Especially during the bitter-tasting

Wading Through The Blues and Clearing Up Muddy Waters with Blue Heron

Blue Heron symbolizes sound soulful guidance in the area
of cultivating a wise personal security council

Folks in the coaching, mental and spiritual health arena
might call this balancing our rational-emotional minds
with our wise minds . . .

It’s so easy to fall in and out of love with the ways of the world . . .
Anything and everything can be romanticized

Entanglements with form abound, and distract our
pleasures and pains with conveniently inconvenient truths

Where did the poetic pop culture expression
“word to your mother” come from?

Shouldn’t everyday be a combination of Mother/Father/Earth day?
Every moment awakens a new breath of new life into our Beings

That’s a good saying to self to remember in the fog
of seasonal allergies, head colds and other maladies
serving as barriers to knowing inner peace . . .

Singing the blues, ramped up mania and the downward
spiral of melancholy have a way of streaming into people’s lives

For some, clinical depression and its manic opposite side
of the same coin are normal realities!

Full Moons tend to feature a rise and fall of these opposites
Does that drive you nuts?

But now that a new lunar cycle is waking up again
remember that madness is the choice to keep doing the same thing
over and over again, while expecting the same results

Taking responsibility for that choice, blazes new pathways that lead
souls out of the darkness of blaming-oriented,
problem-focused, victim consciousness

There is security in knowing that there is always a third and different
way of doing things that can reveal a solution focused perspective

May the spirit of that light your way!

Swan Swims Gracefully into New Age Waters

Imagine the old story of the ugly duckling growing into a beautiful Swan
inspires humanity to undergo a similar transformation in consciousness

Perhaps it looks like an unlikely story, but then again
these are the days of wonders and miracles

A Full Flower Moon rises in the skies this week

It is also called a Wesak Full Moon
when Buddha’s light was born into our world

A flowering spiritual awakening is everywhere

But where there is light, there is also dark
There are many growing dangers out there

Keep in mind it is easier to judge and hate
than to love each other and find common ground

Fear spreads like wildfire . . .
and you always fear what you don’t understand

So doesn’t it make sense to be curious and empathic
in how we approach our differences?

Remember that where there is yin, there is yang
masculine energy lights the path toward yin’s darkness

Next time you find yourself sizing yourself up to someone else –
making a comparison about why your position is right,
and someone else’s is wrong

Or just putting yourself up on a pedestal by demonizing someone else
based on your belief that your way of living is preferred
and therefore should have dominion of another

Take a deep breath, and a break from that mind-set,
whilst just considering the opposite viewpoint for a moment . . .

Allow yourself to see the opposite side of the same coin
from both your head and your heart

This is how we move beyond us and them segregation,
transition into we consciousness, and brings balance to our Earth

Co-creation is about we consciousness as we move into an Aquarian Age
Equality energizes masculine and feminine energies

We all need to keep trying

Even though fictive lizard Master Yoda’s spits
the wisdom to do or do not . . .

It’s hard to be rational and logical when the Universe
reverses directional momentum

Might as well embrace illogical, creative and non-linear/localized
systems of thoughts . . .

Just imagine a world where we all know inner peace –
See that reflect in our outer world for all of us to share

We might as well say yes to the inevitable climate of changing times,
rather than suffering the inner turmoil of internal resistance

While it is the end of the world as we know it . . .
We have the opportunity to dream a new dream that we all co-create!

Working with Blue Jay’s medicine in the positive awakens true wizardry . . .
You get to become the author of your own story

Or you could method act scripted theater as a skilled pretender, like a gang of
con artists criticizing, then in the next breath supporting other charlatans

As we move further away from an old world, and closer to a New Age,
It is becoming abundantly more clear that we must all do our part
to become the change we want to see in the world

Replace the protective metaphorical Berlin Walls that fortify you hearts and minds
With the sunlight of Love and Truth!

Gently let your experience with your old self, past relationships, and dying world
Pass with care, and cross-pollinate into new growth

Hopping Along The Trails With Frog

A Full Pink Moon blossoms in our skies this week . . .
The intensities of the light are rising

There is evidence of new growth sprouting up along the trails . . .

Masculine energies are in full swing now, as yin fades into waning darkness –
In the Northern Hemisphere at least

As we trek further into Spring,
many folks experience frogs in their throats at this time of year

Perhaps you are unexpectedly grieving the ghosts of Winter, past relationships
or even a death of a close relative that has left this Earth

Are you experiencing heightened anxieties about the recent
human-made atrocities that have occurred in our history
and are happening right now around the planet?

Let Frog enter into your awareness to stop doing that
and replace the chatter with heartfelt visions of Love and Light

Death is just another transition really,
although part of being human is to have attachments . . .

Given part of spiritual growth is to let go of our attachments . . .
Lightening-up to our formless selves is not always easy to relax into

And it is our formless selves as souls that are created in the image of God
In our diverse expressions, we are one intricate web of life

What we do to one strand, affects the cosmic whole

When a fellow human being dies of suicide, is taken by cancer,
or a nation of people are bombed from within and also far away . . .

We are all impacted and affected by these disastrous
tragedies of human shortcomings

Let Frog breathe spiritual power into your being,
and reinforce the power of self-respect for your personal boundaries

This time of year reminds us of the transience of life . . .
The blessing of becoming mortal, is not without the curse of physical decay

But as inconvenient truth as allergic reactions to
the winds of change might be . . .

Another way to look at rain, is to look forward to the release of old,
stuck energies that are cleansed by April showers

It can be hard not to get submerged in the swamp . . .
Do what you can to rise up and make the energetic leap onto higher lily pads

Our world is ripe with the fruits of purification
Even if they come in the form and feeling of labor pains

A transformation in consciousness is occurring
Even though the awakening process isn’t happening as gracefully as it could

But somewhere over the rainbow, Frog’s sings in an unconventional voice
that spring’s forth a thunderous washout that brightens the spirits with
a colorful bouquet of fluorescent leaves and May flowers

Springing Forth On The Wings Of Robin

Robins remind us that Spring is in the air –
Meditate on the perspective of an early bird getting the worm . . .

Early days of Spring are budding ahead . . .
Movement into light energies are rising!

Red Robin’s breasts symbolize masculinity –
Red brightens spirits like a hot ray of sunlight!

Energetically, a new zodiacal year is reborn . . .
A new season turns the heat up into a budding New Aquarian Age

But retrograde in the cosmos summon ghosts of yesteryear
Time to heal comfortably numb catacombs,
and release the possessive attachments of those old wounds

Here in American, Bernie Sanders ramps up the call for expanding Medicare
so that everyone has access to quality health care

Who’s going to pay for that?

The same folks funneling billions of dollars to the mega rich,
so that the rest of us are kept from having equal access to that rightful resource

We make work cool again when people have good jobs that pay livable wages,
and ideally have good fortune to have meaningful work . . .

When you do what you love, and love what you do,
Inner peace feels like a sublime experience worth sharing . . .

May we co-create a world with purposeful and meaningful work
that feeds our planet, and in return nourishes all of us!
