A Full Snow Moon wanes in the skies
She was a good reminder to be gentle on ourselves
I remember when Grandfather Sun spoke
of marriage and getting older as not being “for wimps.”
One of the good ancestral mantras of the old days sometimes
worth drinking in is to, “suck it up buttercup”
As spiritual beings having human experiences, we
have our gardens to tend to
And while this means looking after our higher selves,
it also means paying attention to our other relationships
This can spring forth tensions
between which relationships we prioritize
Might as well go with the flow during
this Pisces time of year
Meditation on the calm depths of the ocean
are good medicine for your sea of consciousness right now
Maybe it’s a marriage, a coworker, a family member, or an old friend
Sometimes, our emotional selves come on like a Tsunami
It is good to be in your heart, but you don’t want to forget your head
Of course the tides otherwise are also true
Moving further into a New Age means the old ways
are further away in the rearview mirror
And yet there are labor pains
with new normals whose seeds cannot be suppressed
Here are a couple of new poems I have included in this entry . . .
Haiku Poem:
Mother Nature is
Good medicine for the soul
A sound prescription
Tanka Poem:
Nature is healthy
Energetic food for the
Soul, mind, body and
Spirit vessel that travel
Multidimensional realms
