Becoming a Full Wolf Moon

Picture a Wolf as you tune in to the energies of a Full Moon arriving on Saturday . . .

May we remember our mystical connections to the Moon –
Awakening perceptual hidden knowledge and wisdom

Beaming in the light of consciousness in our everyday realities . . .

Let Wolf invoke your own wise teacher within
to help you find your own path to follow

Wolf’s tracks reveal wise spiritual guidance counsel along the trails
Encouraging us to allow our diverse hearts to beat together in oneness

Bring back balance to our energetic pack connection to one another . . .
May we harmonize with our diversity in unity

Mercury in Retrograde spins yesteryear recordings of a time
when hungry wolf packs howled outside old tribal villages

How do your past experiences play out in your present reality?
What do you have to learn about yourself from past relationships and experiences?

Sometimes we are revisited by meaningful connections in our consciousness
through dreams, visions or even physical contact

Winter is a natural time of year to open-up our hearts to feel sadness
It is healthy for us to grieve the passing
of our loved ones who are no longer physically with us in our lives

Perhaps a past relationship or a change in your identity has resurfaced for you

It is good to process these feelings about past relationships
that have faded away in time and space

May we resurrect their imprint that lives on inside our souls . . .

Training ourselves to let go of our fear of loss and shed old scar tissue
Reveals the depth and power of love

As humans, we will always have attachments
Because we are entangled with form

But as spiritual beings having human experiences
We can soften our attachments by relaxing the ties that bind

Call on your guides, like Archangel Michael to help you with this process
Or get some good therapy to help you along

Gone are the days of being a lone wolf

Contemplate your politics of anger for a moment . . .

Donald Trump personifies hiding behind the surface of this primal emotion
Just observe how he feels justified in building a Berlin Wall around his heart
and greedily buys into a segregationist us and them mentality –
Capturing those sentiments shared by the Fear Factor in others

But Bernie Sanders strikes a chord of an Aquarian we consciousness that resonates
with the collective will of the people in much the same way
as Civil Rights activists transformed their anger into positive and constructive action
Like him, many of us understands that we are all in this together

A more fair and just society belongs to all of us . . .
Equality means that the voices of black folks, GLBTQ people
and others that are marginalized
are just as important for us to hear as humans that sit in privilege

Economic strangulation suffocates all of us, whether realized or not

Are you feeding your inner wise wolf or the angry wolf?

Hope to see you onward up the trails,

Ari

Dream a Lucid Dream with Loon

Hawk and a New Moon flew past us at the tail end of last week
Loon now chimes into our Dreamtime . . .

Mercury is in Retrograde again –

Offering a deepening appreciation for increased
communication breakdowns in logical and left-brain systems

Swimming with Loon guides us into intuitive streams of thought and
powerful currents of feminine waters, creative contemplations and meditations

Powers of lucid dreaming are stronger now

Groundhog Day and a Chinese New Year of the Monkey
Arrive in early February

By then, underground seeds of spring will begin subtly stirring

But for now, Loon guides us further into the waters of our souls
Singing resurface songs to free our submerged selves

Reawakening old wishes and dreams hoping to come up for air
Perhaps their energies have been caught up in underwater stagnation

Imaginative Dreamtime wants to illuminate their slumbering darkness

The old ways of the status quo are outdated roadmaps for new business

Death is in the air this time of year in the Northern hemisphere . . .

But death without dying through lucid dreaming is a real possibility
So there is no need to be spooked by the resurrection of old ghosts

Yes, our bodies will expire . . .
But they are vessels that require nurturing for safe travels
Might as well balance work, play, rest and diet is spiritual health for our souls

The death of Winter evokes a soul facing its ultimate mortality
Part of our work here is to soften our human attachments

May we relax our fear of aging, loss and dying!

See you onward up the trails,

Ari

Hawk Circling Around Here Again

The magical energy of a New Year and New Moon swoop in this week –
In the wake of the visionary air of Hawk

Hawk’s energetic connections to Mercury are good reminders to not take
Retrograde Twilight Zone mind tricks too seriously

Remember the Oz like smokescreen screenplay we are all enticed to buy into
is an illusion with a reality to that perception . . .

Yes, the corporate media serves up more bad news for us to gobble up
and try to keep us afraid of our own dark sides and shades of grey

There is so much tragedy for our eyes to see

But a New hope for this Chinese year of the Monkey is a healthy opportunity
to rise to the challenge of tuning down the internalized background noises of
surround sound chatter and underlying anxieties

Or just the freedom to not pick up the incessant and repetitive mental tapes
that dominate internal voice mail systems

Hawk helps us become aware of the obvious signs and synchronicities
that might have been hiding in the shadows

Meditation on Temperance reveals
Hawk’s assertion to pay attention!

See with the wide open angle gaze of Hawk
Look at the big picture without getting lost in the details

Take responsibility instead of blaming others

Be with the Grandfatherly sunlight of heartfelt connections . . .
Without forgetting the gravitational pull of our Mother Earth

See you onward up the trails,

Ari

An Eagle-Eyed Perch of Illumination and Secure Footing

After Last Week’s Christmas Full Cold Moon fades into the twilight
Sunlight rises in our Divine ascent through less darker nights

But there will be plenty of darkness to tunnel through before
Groundhog Day resurfaces again in early February

We move further toward sensual equanimity on the Spring Equinox in March

Until then, our free-spirited feet respect the
gravitational pull of our emotional earthbound connections

Eagle inspires our souls to be high-minded and connect with deep roots

Soon 2015 will give birth to a Chinese New Year of the Monkey
Always a good time to relax attachment to form

Silence the chattering monkey mind with an inquisitive
and introverted personal reading

What places inside of yourself needs re-visitation and refinement?

Communication with Higher Self vistas
Fly into our Being in spite of anticipatory cold weather fronts

Be a beacon of light when walking with shadows . . .

Our light and dark sides are not warring enemies
May Eagle’s powerful medicine heal any polarity

Become the seeds that you have planted in the year ahead
Be like water and mindful of your head

May heartfelt intimacy awaken . . .
beneath emotionally triggered eruptions

What parts of your soul want to be seen and be heard?

Onward up the trails,

Ari

A Buddha-Christ-like Carbon Footprint in the Park

The Winter Solstice arrives this week in the Northern Hemisphere
A Full Cold Moon on Christmas signifies a
birth of the coldest, darkest and longest nights of the year . . .

After that we will begin to coax back the light of masculine-yang

Paradoxically, our friends in the Southern Hemisphere experience peak light –
Where masculine-yang reaches its zenith on the Summer solstice . . .
And then a downhill run toward rising dark nights of feminine-yin

Like it or not, pain and suffering are part of life
But most of us want to be happy

So here we sit in a chair with paradoxical tension of opposites

Pain is inevitable, but suffering is a choice
Pain is a wound that hurts
Let yourself feel sad in your heart for this . . .

Our ancestors that have left this planet
frequently revisit us during a death cycle in Nature

Do you remember the Buddha’s God realized teachings on compassion in the park?

Become the courage to move deeper into your pain through a lens of compassion
Gently allow yourself to maintain a graceful and compassionate gaze of Deer

Happiness as a way of life is a real possibility
Sing in the whispering winds to the key of inner peace

Christmas is coming to signal the birth of Christ Consciousness
Might as well come down into your soul and Love one another

Because the gift of your presence here is worth receiving!

Remember that soap opera around your pain is of your own creation . . .
Just own it and move forward!

Onward up the trails,

Ari

Mountain Lion Sleeps Tonight

Mountain Lion embodies a gentle roar through leading by quiet example
Their powerful energy comes from within rather than a position without

Awakening into this style of leadership will probably remain hidden to the naked eye

A New Moon has passed over the horizon
Always a good time to ignite new beginnings in your consciousness

A Full Cold Moon arrives on Christmas day
Not long after the Winter Solstice –
Where darkness peaks at that time

Pretty soon, our days will slowly become longer in the Northern Hemisphere
Sunlight rises day after day until it peaks on
the Summer Solstice in June

Mountain Lion guides us into the true power of an internal martial artist
Cultivating energetic momentum that builds gradually like water
A cumulative effect of simmering softness of feminine energy has risen again

Accept responsibility and leap into action
Adjust your game plan at any given moment and respond accordingly

Meditate on the primal elemental forces of water and darkness . . .

How many times have we feared our own feminine nature?

Relax into any unknown adventures  along the way

Onward up the trails,

Taking Flight and Movin’ On Up with Turkey Vulture

In this Moon’s darkness
The light of a New one awaits on the horizon

May we be guided by Turkey Vulture through longer nights
with a bright purifying rebirth on the way . . .

The return of the Winter Solstice is coming soon again
After that, we start coaxing back the light

Something to look forward to . . .

Come down into your souls and levitate above the old
dying emotions that have sucked life out of your energy field

Release those stuck energies and renew your power
Let them go so they can return to a black hole where they can rest in peace

Instead of hating the real perceived targets we call enemies
We shall make friends with a new world where we respect our diversity

It can feel gut wrenching to watch predator and prey do their thing
But take a closer look and examine why this moment presented itself to you
And see if the message becomes clear to you upon that self-reflection

The egoic voice in the head that judges some of us as better than others
Parrots that some of us are more worthy of being saved or damned to be cursed
Like for example the recent segregationist thinking that
says we should demonize the Islamic State

If it’s not one picture of an enemy, it’s another
as processed, sold and bought on the corporate media

There are vultures and fire everywhere
Don’t get sucked into the seductive dramas of apocalyptic doom and gloom

Change the channel and tune in to your feelings and dreams
Give back the remote control to yourself, rather than outsourcing
your inner kingdom to the outer world’s dysfunction

That old world reptilian brain wants to keep you in a fearful place
Time to release those old mental scripts that are scared of their own shadow

When the old self dies, a new identity is reborn
It takes time before the dust settles
Rome wasn’t built, nor destroyed in a day

In the burning fields, new organic pastures are growing
Might as well mulch the reality of inner peace
and transform it into a more realistic possibility

On the inside, we are discovering the freedom to take the fight out of
releasing old mountains that must now move out-of-the-way
So that we can look upon our souls from a cleaner perch

Humankind can embody its name
In the death of our divisive ways, may we embrace our colorful diversity
And use it to our advantage by sharing our resources in harmonic reciprocity

See you onward up the trails,

Ari

Tracking Novel Adventures with Deer

Coming down from last week’s Full Beaver Moon and industrious productivity –
Perhaps leaves a feeling of energetic loss right about now

So many changes on our planet today
As one world dies another is being born

Might as well let the energy of Deer gently guide us through
these transformative transitions to feel safe in this unknown darkness

Look back at the time of Buddha for a moment . . .

Did he beat up on himself for any mistakes he might have made
after his legendary first teaching among deer in a park?

Meditation on Deer heightens sensitivity to the key of inner peace
Nature inspires us to unplug from emotional entanglements with life’s circumstances

Turn off the seductive technological buzz of what’s wrong in the world for a spell
And get outside and play and connect with the natural environment around you

Breathe in a deer’s gentle gaze after taking a cool drink from a crystalline stream
Then breathe out any negative energies that need to leave your being

Remember when our ancestors ventured out on spiritual hunts into the wild
where they followed Deer and were lured to mysterious adventures

Back then, there was an ancient wisdom in the power in letting go

What are you thankful for and what do you need to release and let go of?

Time to hear the crackle of conversational boundaries with others
and sit with that in discernment from your own inner thoughts and perceptions

After all, other people’s opinions really are not my business
and if I listen to their attached emotions then I will likely feel less lonely –
because I will realize that I am a part of a domestic partnership of shared humanity

Imagine all of us building a New Earth together by pouring a
practical foundation of empathy, gentleness or compassion for one another

Onward up the trails,

Ari

Feeling Thankful for Turkey’s Shared Blessings

Turkey serves up an abundant spiritual diet –
inspiring us to thank and give back to Mother Earth

This bird is the word on the power of gratitude and sharing

Good food for the soul –
especially during miserly tidings for many

We live in hard times of violence, tyranny and terrorism . . .
But we also show an incredible amount of resiliency, compassion
and general concern for the common good

Let us welcome reciprocity with seasonal shared blessings

Like taking in a breath of fresh air . . .
Turkey’s death gives us life

Might as well digest an attitude of gratitude for their sacrifices
What do you have to be thankful for in your life?

A dying old world programs us to gobble up mass consumption of sound bytes
melting in a pot stewing from peddled fear-based mass illusionism

False remedies are packaged as mixed cocktails –
security blankets in our consciousness

How do we breathe in revolutionary zeal – without the hate?
How do we awaken our better angels instead of becoming walking corpses?

Light as a feather like Turkey lights our way through the darkness
Our adaptability allows us to walk with grounded spiritual footing

Do you see that what is good for the goose is good for the gander?

Look at how squirrels are driven nuts by turkeys stealing their winter storage
But Nature does show us organic leveling impulses that return balance
to the flowing cycle of life

A Full Beaver Moon reminds us of a time our ancestors set traps before swamps froze
so that we would survive with clothing to keep our bodies warm
during cold winter months

Picture a Turkey to unearth hidden wisdom and seeds of growth

Meditation on Turkey awakens us from a hypnotic trance
Feminine energies are coming in through our Third Eye’s perception

Use this yinward lens to open up new ways to look at the world

More birds are soaring into the gates of hell . . .
But a massive spiritual awakening is taking flight into new vistas
on the Map of Consciousness

In spite of being unique expressions of God . . .
Remember that we all spring equally from Oneness

Try to stay as close to Love, Light and Laughter
While shifting away from the fear mongering orchestrated by the corporate media
and us and them kind of thinking

Shape shift into Turkey’s spirited energy field for a spell . . .
And ward off any negative energies that want to feed off of your soul

Occupy Inner Peace!

Skunk Helps Sniff Out Relationship Odors

Skunk arouses our senses and helps in general with relationship discernment
Time to breathe in respect for personal boundaries and the energy fields of others

Are you speaking your truth when you are feeling threatened or annoyed?

We leave behind a New Moon last week . . .

A Full Beaver Moon gains momentum later on this month

Building fantasy into manifestation may spring from noble intentions . . .
But it is wise to question the application of that how might play out on the ground

Like Nature, our souls are moving further into the dark . . .
A dark night peaks on the Winter Solstice in about a month

Yes, we face much darkness in our world today . . .
The latest terrorist attack in France reflects that

But real change comes from digging deep enough to find inner peace –
in spite of the crisis we face in our often unsafe surroundings

Do you need to fortify your defenses to protect yourself?

Picture a skunk to help to strengthen your self-esteem
so that you can’t be easily intimidated or controlled by others

Meditation on Skunk helps us sniff out
when to attract and when to repel other energies

Their air of nonchalance neutralizes
the foul stink of victim and perpetrator toxicity

No need to demonize that aspect of yourself

Are you paying attention to your body language?

Remember there are no enemies, only reflections of
your shadow-side outer rims of your Divine constitution

Do you need to gain more attention without being arrogant or irritating?

Empower the people with the right incentives
so that they will tend to do the right thing

We need to shift our intention away from massive welfare going to the top 1% –
toward investment in spiritual capital that prioritizes
the needs of the overwhelming majority

Onward up the trails,

Ari
