A New Year, New Moon In Capricorn And A Full Wolf Moon Guides Our Tracks In 2022

A New Moon in Capricorn on January 2, 2022 inspires meditation on accepting that reasonable boundaries and rules actually do offer us freedom from things like worry and chaos. For example, setting goals for ourselves allows us to focus on what really matters. Following an internal path with commitment through the Sea Goat’s footsteps transcends the judgements of the audience, whether or not they boo you offstage or give you a thunderous applause in the theater of life. Remember that without that roaring laughter, there would be no Tao. Strategy is dependent on finding practical supports for self-sufficiency through enthusiastic transformative opportunities for solitude. A mighty will of oneness of the inward and outward reality reflects the Aquarian Age’s mantra of Diversity within Unity. We have our diverse expressions but we are also cut from the same cloth.

The Full Wolf Moon rises on Monday, January 17, 2022. The Western Abenaki Indigenous Peoples called this moon Greetings Moon, while the Ojibwe Native Americans called it the Spirit Moon. Our ancestors observed that wolves were more likely to be heard howling at this time. Wolf communication generally reflects defining territory, locating pack members, reinforcing social bonds, and coordinating hunting.

Become the Full Wolf Moon by allowing Wolf to guide you

beneath your anger into your deeper and higher wise mind.

Yes, there was a time to howl in the night at the madness in the world.

The time is now to feed our Wise Wolf within,

whilst making friends with our angry inner wolves.

When Nature blows in the hot air of the Big Bad Wolf

There is no need to freeze dead in your tracks or tear

everything you see into tiny little pieces

Remember to picture the moon and breathe your spirited Wise Wolf into your being

Are you feeding your calm, peaceful wise wolf, or the

pouting/temper tantrum ways of your angry wolf?

Commentary:

Anger is a primal emotion that is an integral part of being human. Some of us do not go any further than our anger – constantly reacting to the ways of the world without reserve. Intimidation, aggression and even violence are a way of life. And it is easy to stop at justifying our anger by looking at someone or something else as the target of our problem. But Wolf can guide us into the deeper, hidden dens of our souls. Meditation is a process learning to self-reflect. Our emotions are part of being human. We are here to learn how to effectively integrate our emotions into our lives for authentic living. We still have a long way to go. But take a look at the Civil Rights movement and remember how Apartheid was driven out of American culture. Wolf government is inspiring to our developing New World because it is a complex hybrid of a hierarchical and socially democratic culture. Within this balanced system is a carefully woven tapestry of novelty, structure, consistency and predictability. By feeding the wise wolf teachings, we can learn to transform the energy of our anger and use it to take constructive action. Perhaps you get involved in politics to stand up for social justice. Or you could start meditating everyday to lead the sea of change by starting with yourself. It will have a ripple effect that will help heal the whole wide world and beyond. We are not victims to the dictates of the Universe. Rather, we are the Universe. And it is here to serve us as we serve it. Let Wolf show you the way.

The Law of Impermanence teaches us that everything changes in the naturalistic environment. Even in a sterile laboratory, or in a carbon copy, no snowflake is exactly the same, just as no scientific experiment is not without a subtle mutation. And we know from thermodynamics that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Our modern culture, in its over identification and over emphasis of materialism – including being in our bodies, has left us with little regarding stories about death and dying, loss, letting go, etc. In many cases, the mystery of our experiences have been explained away and squelched. But the truth is, “the Lord works in mysterious ways.” Fixed ideas about the after life are no exception. The reality is, none of us really know all of what is going on, or where we are going, not really. We have been taught to be afraid of the dark, and be scared stiff of ghosts – of things that aren’t supposed to be real, or seem to lack rational/logical explanations. I have come to look forward to life, including its deaths and rebirths as surprise birthday parties. Like the box of chocolates metaphor depicted in the popular film Forrest Gump, you never really don’t know what you’re gonna get. Isn’t that what makes novel experiences grand – that you can’t really predict what will happen by a completely controlled design?

By imagining a world out in nature, you can get a feel for nurturing your natural need to support your own individual needs versus your need to be part of a group to support the needs of the collective whole. Human beings are part creature and part divine. As such, we all need to learn how to work together in social circles, as well as go back to our dens and be alone with ourselves by sitting with is going on inside our being.

There are old stories that our elders passed down from oral traditions that humans descended from wolves, and from the skies. Given that dogs have been called “man’s best friend,” metaphorically this makes sense. Humans, like dogs, have been genetically engineered in a variety of ways. Even our sciences have discovered that we all have stardust in our constitutions. And we also now know that we have the built-in capacity to change our DNA, but changing our thinking, our attitude, shifting our perspective, and our power to choose the meaning about how we experience reality.

Just because much of humanities experiences to date have been to a large degree unconscious and subconscious creations out of the shadow building of a men who know not what they do, does not mean that we are victims to circumstance. Part of the reason the elite few have stayed on top is that they have learned the secrets of how to manipulate and control the masses by tapping into primal desires, and also dividing and conquering by driving people to distraction. People who march to the beat of their own drum, question authority, and dream of a different world where everyone can win are lucid dreaming. The trick is to remain grounded in the reality we live, so that we can empower ourselves to remember that we are spiritual beings that live on this world, but are not of it. When you dig a little deeper, and tap into the kingdom of heaven within, you know the experience of inner peace. Happiness as a way of life is not without pain, and uncomfortable experiences or tension. Inner peace and experiencing happiness as a way of life is about leaning into the unwanted scenarios and exchanges, facing your fears about them head on, building up your tolerance for that, and coming to an acceptance, and even embracing any arriving imperfections.

We all have an inner genius within our being. The difference is that only a minority of people either believe it, or are even willing to entertain or imagine this possibility. I remember a time when I at least started to consider the idea of an inner genius as an intellectual possibility, and started focusing on it in my mind, and reading books that were spiritually instructive and inspirational in content. And I craved talking with people that were tapping into this kind of thinking. But like anything, you have to test it out for yourself, and be willing to move beyond the intellect, and into your heart, deeper into an intuitive understanding of just knowing. And you can’t do that without trust, and a leap of faith. Not blind faith of dogma, but a faith that makes the jump when you’re not really sure where it will take you in your consciousness. To do that, you need a callback to stay grounded in this reality. Wolf is good energy medicine for making friends with that.

Anger is a primal emotion, and I came into this world with a built in anger. I also had many experiences in my early years, and of course later in life that have made me angry. Whether it was not every knowing what it was like to have two parents living together, and taking care of me, my behavioral struggles in schools, heightened sensitivity to the moods and emotions of others, and then reacting to that by not knowing the difference between what was mine and what was theirs, or seeing people out there that seemed to either have it better or worse of than me. I remember when an older friend told me the truth about Santa Clause, and then another one told me about the truth about nuclear weapons. I was enraged at being lied to, and the hypocrisy of our species to be so intelligent on the one hand, but doing such stupid things with that intelligence on the other.

The wisdom of Wolf is to understand that we all have two wolves in our heads at any given moment. And they are always fighting. But it is the wolf that we choose to feed that wins. It’s akin to the saying that energy is energy . . . it’s what we do with it that counts. We can either work it in the positive or the negative. The choice is ours. Meditating on Wolf in the positive can help lead you in the right direction.

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Ari

The Howlin’ Wolf Full Moon, and the Chinese New Year of the Rat

A Full Wolf Moon blows in the cold winds on January 10th.

The distractions of the holidays have passed, and the
Sun driven Gregorian New Year eclipses us.

And now many are feeling depressed, as the void of coming down
into the wake of winter’s slumber is setting in.

These feelings are natural, even if demonized, and
feared in our glamorized world of being up all the time.

But we can look forward to a New Moon on the 24th, that is followed closely by
the arrival of the Chinese-Lunar Year of the Rat on the day after that.

Meditate on the tracks of Wolf government . . .
Wolves embody a delicate balance of hierarchy, and democratic principles.

Be mindful of the shrewd inspiration of rats to remember
our intellect to reflect, and evaluate on our current human plight.

Legend has it that even the Buddha was impressed when
Rat was the first one to come learn when he
invited all the animals to his teachings.

You don’t have to look very far to see
the climate of changing tides on the Planet today.

There are many things to grieve about the suffering
we see among our human brothers and sisters.

Yeah, it might be hard not to get seduced by the
enemies of hate spreading like agent orange across
the sands of time.

Watch the dinosaurs of the old paradigm fight tooth and nail
to protect a dog eat dog conditioned mentality that is oppressive.

Remember that those people are suffering the most are afraid
that their power is slipping away by believing that they
don’t have a place in a New Earth.

But everything about that kind of thinking
are merely examples of erroneous zones.

Even if you don’t understand what polarity consciousness,
or diversity in unity means, you probably already realize that
people are more divided nowadays more than yesterdays.

That’s why we souls have come here at this time,
because we must heal the illusion of our perceived separation.

But then again, every soul’s waking up process happens in
its own way, as does their personal transformational process.

As long as I have been on the planet, I have seen this
more pronounced now more than ever.

This is part of our awakening, spiritually speaking.

I was born right around the time that Richard Nixon resigned –
probably right before he would have been impeached.

People forget that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,
left his comfort zone of black churches.

He did that with great courage by venturing out into the unknown
to protest the Viet Nam War, and social injustices by crossing over into
the the dominant White, Middle-Class America, and the world at large.

Civil Rights is about asserting the right for everyone to
have equal access to resources. It is about asserting
that we all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

Now we have a Billionaire Class gangster at large in the White House.

But he is just part of the Old Testament Goliath
that represents a dying old world.

The vanity fair of the ego should be our servant
but not our master.

A tao centered way of an Aquarian New Age is on its way,
but we are in the labor pains right now.

It is a similar feeling to when you experience loss
when someone you love dies, moves out of your life,
you go through a death of your old self, your child leaves
for college, you go through a break-up, a divorce,
or leave a job, along with coworkers you see everyday, etc.

Perhaps the gender identity, or your sexuality has
changed, and you now view that part of you as dead,
and a new part of you as born.

Out of the great void, arises a new light, and energies
that come alive inside of you when you
let them flow through your Being.

But around here, part of playing the blame game,
and being a blamenator, is to take things personally.

In this sphere, we see criticisms as personal attacks,
and then become defensive.

I know this because I have been good at those things during my lifetime.
In fact, I have been gifted at it.

At some point, you have to get sick of being sick, and realize
that by softening your will, and by surrendering to the
will of the Universe, you aren’t losing or selling out.

If you can access faith and trust, it will shed light
in the tunnel of darkness – however dimly lit.

By not drawing your sword, and going to war with another person,
you are actually getting in touch with yourself on a deeper level.

Remember that the definition of insanity is to keep doing
the same thing over and over, and expecting different results.

And here we are with our weapons of mass destruction, wars, cyberbullying,
and deleting each other because we fear our apparent differences.

We have to stop attracting this kind of energy if we are
going to stop creating it.

We can have our philosophical disagreements, and work
them out through peaceful, and non-violent means.

If you want make a difference, like Ghandi said,
you have to become the change you want to see in the world.

Instead of being seduced by your anger, hate, fears, etc.,
listen to your internal informers, and be curious about why
you are really feeling that way.

Respect isn’t an entitlement.
It may be earned, but it should be given no matter what.

Might as well make respect a daily habit.

Do you remember the Golden Rule?

Heaven and hell are inner states of consciousness.

You always have a choice about which gate you go through.

You can heed the call of your lower self (demons), and make
the transition into your Higher Self (better angels).

It isn’t about walking around with a yoke around your neck,
or following the dictates of what society says you should.

You’ll know when your head and heart are in alignment when
you do the right thing just because it’s the
right thing to do out of your own goodness.

It doesn’t matter who agrees with you, or who is on your side.
Just try to see souls over roles when you co-mingle with our human family.

Till we tweet again peeps,

Ari

Swimming in Dolphin’s wake

Remembering when to go with the flow, not push too hard against the river, be soft, gradually allowing momentum to build and let go of our left brain, logical-rational minds is not always easy. Especially, when many of us feel the shifting tides and spirited energies flowing into our consciousness. Swimming with Dolphin is good medicine for that. Authentic living asks us to take a fair and balanced gaze onto Life. Some of us might not like hearing the news that our lower selves deliver us–especially when arriving in the broadcast of negative emotions. But information is what it is and we have a right to give ourselves permission to grieve during the dirge of our old selves. In that light, it sounds true that we are washing away the toxicity, breathing in fresh air and watering the seeds so that they may blossom into new growth. For some of us, we might be doubting Groundhog’s forecast for an early spring. However, Winter is waning and coming soon Spring almost here. At this time, light and dark, masculine and feminine energies will share an equal marriage, if only briefly. Dolphin’s teachings resonates within our inner waters and its medicine serves as Universal Manna for our soul’s nourishment. In the beginning, there was sound. With Dolphin as our guide, we see and connect with our greater global community. Water symbolizes creation, passion, sexuality and new dimensions. Beyond nostalgia, sometimes when looking back on our past relationships, we notice past regrets and feel sad about that. Sending telepathic messages to someone is one way to heal, while opening up our hearts to a deeper sense of empathy, understanding and bringing in more heartfelt compassion into our Being.

Has anyone out there seen the film, The god’s must be Crazy? In that vain, Coke is suing to block a recycling program that will help facilitate our transition through Climate Change. On the other hand, the Violence Against Women Act will now protect all women from abuses. But why do we limit our protection against violence at all? From a developmental perspective, it is easier to identify with the perspective of an abuser-bully than the experience of a victim because of the misconceived power that entails. Why are friends on Capitol Hill so terrified about allowing maturation to kick in here? We all have growing up to do and Karma to clear, but leadership serves as a role model to our World. The so-called sequester cuts are killing programs that serve as a safety net that have protected the “General Welfare” of hundreds of thousands of our mentally ill and formerly homeless brothers and sisters and kids in Head Start. And our politicians continue to push for a self-fulfilling prophecy for yet another world war, when they promised the first one would end all wars. This time, Israel is being encouraged to taunt Syria and Iran, as things continue to heat up in the Middle East. Wyoming opened up lands to unrestricted wolf killings that threatens their recovery. While we hear political-business rhetoric about how government should stay out of our lives, at the same time Facebook gobbles up $430 million in government subsidies so that they don’t have to pay a Red Cent in taxes. The clear channel says consumption is being pushed on us and then we are punished for taking the bait and getting hooked–even though it is a scientific fact that punishment doesn’t work and isn’t a form of discipline. If we have to petition to stop the killing of our underwater friends, we have a right to ask why our Navy is conducting an underwater sonar program in the first place. Who are you serving here? We all have a right to the Truth and a need to trust that we can live harmoniously with one another. We will all win as we move away from fear and stay as close to Love as possible.

When swimming in Dolphin’s wake, we remember to integrate playfulness into our walking meditation. In the spirit of that, we receive guidance to pay attention to our body rhythms and energetic patterns fed to us by Great Spirit. Ingesting Dolphin’s medicine helps us access the hidden caverns and underwater cities within the depths of our souls. Classroom lessons are teaching us how to build a bridge between our material realm and Dreamtime. Meditation on Dolphin helps us dive into our primordial history, remember the power of our breath and communicate more effectively with one another.

See you further on down the trails,
