A Full Cold Moon Sheds Light on a Dark Winter Solstice . . .

A Full Cold Moon on Sunday, December 15 awakens our ancestral heritage foundation of pre-colonization American history and Celtic culture.

Not long after that, it will be the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere on December 21st. This is the darkest day of the year on this half of the planet.

In much the same way as our ancestors did; we are given the opportunity to meditate on coaxing back the light because every day will show a little more daylight till light and dark are equal again on the Spring Equinox in later March 2025.

In the Southern Hemisphere, it will be their Summer Solstice or the peak amount of daylight there. And then their days will be getting shorter till the arrival of their Autumn Equinox, where light and dark will be equal again.

This Full Moon aka Gemini Full Moon also represents a powerful point of completion and endings. This is the perfect time to set intentions for anything we might wish to leave behind and let go of as we move into 2025.

Taoism and ancient Chinese culture reveal that digesting bitter is an age old mantra; especially during this Bitter Full Moon. Bitter doesn’t taste good, nor does the experience of digesting bitter feel good.

Like the commercialized long, drawn out American election season; special interests spend mad money on propping up candidates backed by big money and the mega rich. Who payin’ you?

Just imagine the possibilities when we pour the bulk of those resources into the the well being of our planet, humanity and all sentient beings . . .

The dying old paradigm is hard to stomach and sit with. If we aren’t attending to our mental health and spirits, then our souls can fade and remain easily traumatized and triggered. Everything feels personal from that experience.

In the Northern Hemisphere, darker days align with a yin-ward focus. Coming down in our souls aligns with the spirit of the season and will harmonize with all creation.

Time to go within our inner dens and visit the dream lodges during winter’s death cycle.

Tis the season to slow down, get more sleep, rest, journal, meditate and play around with lucid dreaming.

The reason we say Happy Holidays is that there are so many cultural celebrations that honor spirit at this time of year.

And yet, the emphasis on consumerism, shopping and the cultural norm of being up all the time. But it isn’t natural with a time where we are meant to come down into our souls and gather with each other with festive vibes.

Mercury in Retrograde continues till December 25th. As always, we can expect more spacing out, mental fog, compromised left brained cognitions, and machines behaving badly more than usual during this time.

Might as well take it easy and prioritize self-care while surfing these Yule tidings, if you’ll pardon the seasonal pun.

Mindfulness is not about polyanna or looking at life thlough rose-colored glasses. It’s about where we put the spotlight of awareness.

Focusing on positive self-talk is far more supportive and empowering than getting sucked into negative self-talk stories and learned helplessness.

Last year, it was the year of the Dragon.

As you reflect back on the last year- what awakenings did you notice with relation to self-love and empowerment by tapping into your inner royal and power?

According to the Chinese Lunar calendar, it will be the year of the Snake on January 29th, 2025. From this perspective; an awakening of wisdom and elegance will take place because the energy of Snake symbolizes transformation and adaptability.

Snake will be an important spirit guide to help us move further into the throes of Climate Change; as well as effectively transition from a dying old world into a New Age and Paradigm.

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Peak Experiences On The Summer Solstice

The Summer Solstice will happen on Thursday, June 20. As if the Solstice isn’t enough of a peak experience, a Full Strawberry Moon will follow on the day after. Of course, this Full Moon goes by many names. Some of these names include the Lotus Moon in the Chinese tradition, the Mead Moon in Anglo Saxon tradition or Rose Moon in European tradition.

Don’t you just love the way the different traditional names for the Full Moons reflect the New Aquarian Age of honoring our Diversity Within Unity? There can be many right names to capture the same one Full Moon.

The Summer Solstice will be the longest day on the planet in the Northern Hemisphere. Energies of manifestation and growth abound. Time to get out in Nature’s gardens, feel our feet on the ground, hike up a mountain, take in the waves along the shorelines, feel the warmth of the sunlight on your skin and cool down by the water’s edge.

Keep in mind that it’s the Winter Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere, where it will be their darkest day of the year. A perfect planetary embodiment of the yin and the yang; light and dark or the fluidity of masculine and feminine energies at play. Like our brains, the planet has two hemispheres and we need both to be in healthy communication with one another. There can’t be light without dark or female without male.

Balance is key. Spirits can get out of control in the sweetness of summertime, which is why we keep our feet on the ground to soak up our connection to Mother Earth. Turtles are good reminders for knowing when to come out of our shell; while at the same time remaining anchored in and secure in our footing.

Cancer the Crab energies are in the air and in their elemental forces with water. Given their unwavering intersections between the sea and shorelines, Cancer can teach us how to work with emotional and material realms.

Like every year, the Sirius Gateway opens up our spiritual connection to the light energies of Sirius on July 3-7th. Narratives as told by our ancestors have revealed sacred connections to Sirius and higher forms of consciousness and technology. These connections awaken through this Spiritual Sun or portal to a different dimension.

Meditation on dimensional bleeding and vibrational shifts can awaken and accelerate consciousness expansion. Some interesting synchronicities to this include that the Egyptian goddess Isis has been linked to Sirius; as well as the Egyptians referred to Sirius as the Dog Star. Moreover, the Dogon tribe in West Africa teaches about their lineage connection to Sirius.

Although ETs aren’t new to our shared human experience, a growing body of research shows these experiences are on the rise; particularly since the first detonation of the atomic bomb. These abuses of technological terror have a dimensional ripple effect that exceeds the material effects, which are disastrous enough. In much the same way as meditation practices, stories of the Sky People visiting our planet and interacting with humans have been passed down from our ancestors.

Take care of yourselves everyone,
