Turtle Guides Us Through the Land and Seas of Time

We are now in a Pisces time of year,
where our souls want to surf the mutable waters of changing tides

Time to venture deeper and higher into spiritual authenticity . . .

A New Moon and round two of February eclipses are arriving
Death of Winter, past lives, and an old age is becoming more real

Turtle is here to remind us to take shelter from the storm
Paradoxically, letting go of control awakens new beginnings in relationship

Now is the time to nurture and honor relationship with Higher Self
Love is patient and kind . . .

Turtles have been around longer than dinosaurs
They are survivors, with ancient wisdom

Turtle guides us into a Higher vibration of Love
In this dimension, we understand love is about letting go of what we fear of losing

Love is not about trying to control, change or fix someone else
Love is beyond an intellectual concept that resides in the ego’s illusion

Love is beyond tit for tat, manipulation or using your snake oil to
enchant someone else to bend their will to your bidding

A majority of people out there either think they love or hate Donald Trump
But those base emotions just feed his ego, and energize his narcissism

Not to mention drain your own energy field and gives away your power
That isn’t going to help us co-create a New World

President Trump is a metaphor . . .

His presence here is a sign of the times – a key dynamic to
becoming the change we want to see in the world

At the end of the day, any con artist with the King Midas touch is conning himself
by believing that everything he touches will turn to gold

A Phoenix doesn’t rise until it has burned in the ashes first
This is symbolic of where we are at on the clock of Father Time

Empathy in action realizes that President Trump is part of us, like a grain
of salt or star-dust in the cosmos – none better nor worse than another

Spring is arriving, and pretty soon light and dark will be in alignment again
on Spring Equinox in later March . . .

Energies are intensifying, and it becomes a time ripe for action
as we move further into the masculine energies of yang’s light

Remember, we are all One, albeit diverse expressions of Great Spirit

Skunk Helps Sniff Out Relationship Odors

Skunk arouses our senses and helps in general with relationship discernment
Time to breathe in respect for personal boundaries and the energy fields of others

Are you speaking your truth when you are feeling threatened or annoyed?

We leave behind a New Moon last week . . .

A Full Beaver Moon gains momentum later on this month

Building fantasy into manifestation may spring from noble intentions . . .
But it is wise to question the application of that how might play out on the ground

Like Nature, our souls are moving further into the dark . . .
A dark night peaks on the Winter Solstice in about a month

Yes, we face much darkness in our world today . . .
The latest terrorist attack in France reflects that

But real change comes from digging deep enough to find inner peace –
in spite of the crisis we face in our often unsafe surroundings

Do you need to fortify your defenses to protect yourself?

Picture a skunk to help to strengthen your self-esteem
so that you can’t be easily intimidated or controlled by others

Meditation on Skunk helps us sniff out
when to attract and when to repel other energies

Their air of nonchalance neutralizes
the foul stink of victim and perpetrator toxicity

No need to demonize that aspect of yourself

Are you paying attention to your body language?

Remember there are no enemies, only reflections of
your shadow-side outer rims of your Divine constitution

Do you need to gain more attention without being arrogant or irritating?

Empower the people with the right incentives
so that they will tend to do the right thing

We need to shift our intention away from massive welfare going to the top 1% –
toward investment in spiritual capital that prioritizes
the needs of the overwhelming majority

Onward up the trails,

Ari

Visited by Goose

Goose is honking out to us that Spring has sprung . . .

The spirited guidance of Geese synchronizes with New Moons –
Time to wake up to symbolic connections to new beginnings

“Out with old, in with the new.”

Geese reflect possibilities
of flowering egalitarian soul mate relationships

Goose offers wise counsel in developing couple partnership
that is based on a lifetime commitment of mutuality and trust –

A testament to purification, renewal and sustainable intimacy

What birds of a feather are you attracted to flocking together?
Do you want to become the change you want to see in the world?

Be the calm in the eye of the storm, as our world needs that now more than ever

But at the end of the day, we all need to learn how to create healthy marriages
with our own intrinsic masculine and feminine nature

A mythical sense of Life’s spiritual quest
and adventure into legendary places is re-awakened

May we re-imagine what we want our lives to look like
Suspension of disbelief stimulates the fantastic even in the mundane

Become the author of your own life by changing your story
Use the energy of Goose to unlock the forces of creativity in your daily script

Geese are vegetarians and a good reminder that we are what we eat
Are you getting enough vegetables in your daily diet?

Like an arrow, the formation of Geese point us toward experiencing
new directions and possibilities that will sharpen our vision
So that we are on target with a Bull’s Eye precision
In peaceful and non-violent ways
When we venture out and trek into new frontiers

Fasten your seat belts and
Ready up your mind-body-spirit ships
for beaming up toward uncharted places in your consciousness

Try not to be too perfectionist in your goal-setting
May we re-member that it is the mystery of the journey
that matters more than the destination of the final frontier

Even on the Surface, Conscious Breathing has Great Depth

Dolphin guides our spirits in this material world
into remembering when Grandmother Moon
once wove patterns of the tides into our daily Earth-walk

Dolphins are speaking to us to help us remember
primal communication through sensing vibration and sound

Do you need to pay more attention to your intellectual development,
or communication issues regarding the psychology
of self in relationship?

Whether looking at conflict in world events
Or personal relationships –
Sometimes silence or even pausing to take a deep breath,
and think before we speak gives peace a chance

Water symbolizes creation, passion and sexuality
Feminine power gains sustainable momentum
when tapped into gradually, gently and softly

Picture the dominant Masculine Military-Industrial Empire
Breathing in the fresh air of these self-evident Truths
and then exhaling its complexities that blow things out of proportion

Before going scuba diving . . .
Remember to adjust breathing patterns accordingly
Blowing out tension by relaxing into deep belly breathing

We use our sonar (empathy) to tune into our natural bio-rhythms

Surf the energetic waves with a playful, light-hearted sense of detachment
But not without holding secure footing onto our boards

Dolphins lesson plans awaken our
curiosity, intellect and intuitive faculties

Let us bow equally to our oneness and diverse expressions
Without our breath, there would be no rebirth

Do you need to expand your awareness beyond your own family or pod
to see yourself as part of our greater Global community?

Emotional cleansing clears away stagnant water that needs to flow
Our Dreamtime reveals connections to old wounds that want to release and heal

Do you need to enjoy life and become more playful –
In spite of undesirable cosmetic imperfections?

Grieving our heartaches and sorrows is a sign to address pain we have stuffed
Otherwise, the pain builds and suffering continues

May we take back our outward projections

What does our awareness of our traumatic experiences
have to teach us about ourselves?

Adjust our breathing patterns to swim in life’s mutable waters
Altered states and New Dimensions are accessed when inner sounds
reverberate in outer manifestations

Becoming the change you want to see in the world is a good mantra to live by

A Full Worm Moon later on this week hints at softening ground
with reappearing earthworm casts
Robins sings songs of spring arriving
As maple sap begins to flow
Tapping of annual maple tree rituals are beginning

Masculine and feminine energies will flow together
in waves of synchronized oceanic swimming
On Spring Equinox in later March . . .
I hardly think a showcase of collective Olympic gold medals could touch that.

Tunneling Underground with Groundhog

Groundhogs radically lower their body temperature, respiration and heartbeat
Securing a protected slumber to keep safe and sound while frozen in time
During this week’s Full Snow Moon

Do you ever feel like you are sleepwalking through life in a hypnotic trance?
Every day is the same
Like Bill Murray’s character in the iconic film Groundhog Day
Even when killing himself, he cannot escape his suffering

But there is a way out of our suffering by leaning into our pain

A Groundhog’s Winter hibernation
Symbolizes death and rebirth while we are breathing
Waking-Up the embers of underground unconsciousness
Unearthing mysteries of death without dying

Pregnant with dreamy seeds of who we want to become
When Spring Eclipse season buds into our consciousness
While slumbering in dark tunnels of our soul

Lucid dreaming sheds light on our underground digging and tunneling
Do you feel your subconscious mind waking-up?

Life and death are deeply mysterious unknowns
But we do not have to physically die to live
with a healthy relationship with our mortality

Regardless of the weather forecast, unexpected changes happen
Order and chaos are in a fluctuating tango
Our boarders and edges soften with time

Are you sending clear signals for boundaries you want respected?

Mercury in retrograde resurrects relationships from our past
Use this period to release and let-go of stagnant energies
Like feeling abandoned, rejected, resentful or bitter
Gently allowing healing to take place instead of developing an attitude

Regarding past regrets . . .
Remember that you win when you choose forgiveness
Give yourself permission to grieve so that you can move forward

Are you handling the accompaniment of mixed and conflicting feelings
that are rising up to the surface without getting stuck in global overwhelm?

But rather than skillfully avoiding our pain and discomforts
Through sophisticated symptom relief . . .
If only we develop our tolerance threshold, accept and even embrace
our internal deaths and rebirths with grace

We breathe in the fresh air of every living moment . . .
And then exhale its death in the next moment of kin . . .

We can let go of our resentments and digest bitter
Relaxing the charge we have felt by our pain

If only we learn to live in the present as it happens
We gently allow a distant past of abuses or projected future fantasies
Pass with care

We awaken to the metaphor of reincarnation
Transcending the Law of Cause and Effect
Reworking and revisiting Groundhog Day
Into a magical mystery tour of
Right Now!

Chip Off The Old Munk

Gathering and hoarding for forthcoming seasonal storage
Autumn into Winter is a time for burrowing and hibernation

Industry, efficiency and determination traits aid in
Financial planning and security for rainy day funds

Astrological Eclipse Season yields paradoxical intensities
To usual gentle Yinward subtle energies.

While keeping an eye on our Federal Reserve
Prosperity symbol and investments are hopefully coming soon to a theater near you
Simultaneously attachments to possessions and equanimity are wise to let go of

Versatility, quick-witted, high energy, sociability
Mixes well with relaxation and exercise energetically

Do you need to get down to business?

Are you working hard enough or do you need to lighten up your load?

Conservatism is good medicine when applied to save and protect our resources
Increasing our thrift and efficiency with time, talents and money.

Being playful with light-hearted sense of detachment opens doors of intimacy
Heartfelt connections serve as relationship enhancers.

Appreciation is an empathic-centered state of mind.

Keeping our eye on the horizon. But not at the expense of the present moment.
Regardless of how nerve-wracking or anxiety provoking an experience may unfold.

Learning to move with fluidity and grace.
During the dance floor of life.

Do you remember Duck’s medicinal power?
Feathering our memory . . .

We are all travelers here.
Waking up to an understanding that we are
Living in a deeply sacred and mysterious Universe.

Journeying through symbolic and archetypal energies
Streaming through our individual beings
binding us together as One.

Duck’s presence loosens up our resistance to untangling from
internal emotional webs during our changing tides.
Opening up our Hearts to systemic equilibrium.

Are you in balance?

“Oh Captain My Captain”
Duck paddles through Life’s muddy waters . . .

Mindfully exploring our surface and depth.
Singing the blues amidst flat energy _
Learning musical high note security by staying afloat with grace and comfort.

Returning to innocence –
Somewhere in time . . .
To a familiar place where we feel safe and comfortable.

Conversations with Duck remind us that
“Birds of a feather, flock together”
In like mind and spirit.

Do you need to be more adaptable?

Nurture you emotions as you would water other areas of life.

Past Lives, Past Loves

Previously, in my eyes loving you was all I thought mattered.
But seeing you hurt – your soul and mine . . .
Has left my heart shattered.

I have given enough – I have no more to share.
With you my dear – in our ongoing affair.

Like a Robin in winter – I have flown away toward the light.
Severing energetically coveted ties . . .

Of you from my eyes.

Eternally resting – a peacefully quiet place in my soul reserved for you . . .
Infinitely wishing you peace, love and happiness too.

Surrendering to the Sweetness of What Is – Bitter as it might taste

Might we look at our experiences of yesteryear as past lives? Aren’t we humans supposed to evolve – in that we venture into and move through common developmental stages in Life? Yet our growth does not always feel graceful and is often not without pain. Yes we are shaped by our past. But we need not be defined by it. Have any of your past selves been good at reacting to what is? It can be such a challenge to sit with the present moment and deal with unwanted and uncomfortable feelings, such as guilt and shame. Do you try to bypass these feelings by exiting with aggression or denial? Tempting as avoidance is, taking an authentic look at our souls with a reflective lens and sitting with that is empowering. Getting out in Nature helps rekindle the fire within. When I noticed the rabbit tracks in the snow the other day, I wondered how far the rabbit hole do I want to go? I can’t help but remember our ancestral connection to the lunar cycle and the ebbs and flows of the tides. Can you feel the crocuses wanting to wake up and show us that Spring is just around the corner to the light of day? A Full Moon on March 16th symbolizes completion and celebration. Are we building a global community in the spirit of honoring one another’s gifts by sharing resources? These politics of living help us move into a New Age and Paradigm more gracefully. In our husbandry, we experience labor pains. It’s how we move with our Mother’s labor pains that matters most.

During this Pisces time of year, we are leaving behind Winter and welcoming Spring. It is a good time of year to let go of the ghosts of yesterday. Our relationships with others give us opportunities to get to know ourselves, in rank and beauty, on a deeper level. Like seasons, relationships come and go. But their energy remains with us until we learn the lessons we need to learn. In that, we experience both literal and figurative deaths, divorces and separations. Sometimes it’s like two planets come together in orbit for a while and then change their trajectory and drift apart. We have relationships with everything – habits, food, drink, substances, our developmental stages in life, a psychological trait, a significant other, the stock exchange, class, a pet, books, etc. When a relationship shows us something we do not want to see, it is easier to have the wool pulled over us and get caught up in the illusion of separation.  But we are not separate.  Even that homeless person on the street, in a mental institution or on death row is part of our being. And they are worthy of a silent blessing. When we remember to have compassion for the triggers and defenses of others, we help them lower their guard to have meaningful exchanges. Seek first to understand, then be understood. Water is a powerful elemental force that builds its momentum gradually. It has a cleansing effect on our consciousness. This is a good time of year to meditate on water. In that process, try to go with the flow rather than swim upstream.

Venturing Down Old Roads With New Neurons

After overindulging in food, drink and enjoying the fuel injected Detroit Lions atypically route another team on national television, my wife and I ventured to a reunion. En route down Thunder Road, a dynamic mix of 90s background music conjured up nostalgia from that era, juxtaposed with Billy Joel’s Scenes from an Italian Restaurant danced on in my mind.

When we got to town, we made a pit stop to eat at a local pizzeria that features authentic pizza. In the spirit of life being like one big surprise birthday party, we recognized old friends for an unscripted encounter. It wasn’t Mystic Pizza, but we enjoyed a heavenly slice of conversational exchange on life’s happenings and where are they now. This is a good time of year to come down into our souls and revisit our past connections, if only in other areas of consciousness like our dreams, visions and imaginations. Of course, being present is easy to avoid these days with the emphasis on virtual social media, 24 hour shopping, playing with gadgets and other distractions. While reconnecting in a physical way can be especially anxiety provoking, underneath that rock is an opportunity to breathe new air into old relationships and connections. While I can appreciate bowing out gracefully from old relationships that appear stale and toxic, it was also a great energetic opportunity to re-work and transform. My heart is pleasantly full from that.

In much the same way as the good n’ plenty of our citizenry, High School years were an interesting experience. In the dancing and mingling, we celebrated diversity in unity during our cross-constellation exchanges. Right Tao, isn’t everything old new again? Bearing witness to a theatrical cast of characters – it was music to my ears to see that girls just want to have fun . . . but be careful because the floor is slippery when wet! I was in my element – trying my best to be mindful of organic opportunities to connect with peeps from back in the day. In my estimation, we consumed a co-creative venue to see old friends and breathe in fresh air. For yours truly, talking football with some old teammates was poetry in motion and a welcome nightcap. In the spirit of that, an old teammate gave me a bear hug that would have left any star NFL thoroughbred inundated.

Looking back, I walked away from the experience with the wisdom that you know you love your soul mate in their rank and beauty when you can laugh again at idiosyncrasies that once drove you nuts. In true Hollywood fashion, the romantic ideal of finding your soul mate reads like a Utopian fairy tale with a happy ending. But the reality of taking a road trip together and sharing balanced conversation without the aid of technological audio to fill in the airwaves is music to my ears. When we can authentically gaze upon our partner with the viewpoint that we are mirrors for an other’s soul development, we bear witness to As Good as it Gets.

In learning to live on Earth in this way, I am thankful for the infinite spirited blessings of this season. Tis the season to meditate on gratitude and letting go as we embark toward the darkest night of the forthcoming Winter Solstice. And while it is natural to over-indulge during this time, it is also a good time to clean out.

Be Well,

Ari
