Keeping The Flame During A Fiery Late July Leo Season & Swimming Into A Full Sturgeon Moon In August.

A New Moon in Leo will arrive on July 24, 2025.

About a week before the New Moon, Mercury will be in Retrograde on July 18 and stay there till August 11; just after the Full Sturgeon Moon on August 9th.

Transformation is in the air. Be mindful of a rising tide of emotions that may surface in your waking reality for self-examination.

Are you experiencing power struggles? Are you feeling displaced or taken advantage of?

Leo’s fiery energies inspire us to frolic, play and enjoy drinking in summery energies.

Humanity can look upon this time as a friendly reminder that we are social creatures by nature.

May we access our social butterfly at this time, and build confidence in social situations so that we can effectively step into the limelight.

Tap into the fire element to access your intuitive spiritual wise warrior now to face any old ghosts or wounds.

And then transform them into spirit guides that support you along your way. Doing so is far more worth your time than getting your fix of the daily news to ‘keep informed’.

Our ancestors named this Moon after the Sturgeon because they were a primary food source to Indigenous people and colonists, and peak seasonal catch at this time.

If it seems like something fishy is going on during this Nature cycle, Mercury in Retrograde can feel like an old Twilight Zone episode; where communication can break down. Moreover, logic and reason of left brain systems of thought lose their power.

At the same time, we are invited to move into creative, right brain realms, like meditating, journaling, singing, playing music, and movement.

It’s also a good time to rewind and review where we have been, and explore the direction we want to move toward that awaits on the horizon.

Further, Mercury in Retrograde gives us the opportunity to let go, surrender and go with the flow.

Try to let rigid thoughts relax into the ebb and flow of the tides. Shorelines are magical places to meditate on for that.

Sturgeon’s have a prehistoric intelligence, and are good at swimming through murky waters. This reflects their survival instinct and resilience.

Humanity can stand to build our collective resiliency. Just imagine the infinite win-win possibilities!

Nowadays, mental health is paying more attention to learning how to swim in mental waterways that access happiness as a way of life.

Inner peace is a real deep dive; a dimension where following your bliss and discovering what awakens joy within your being are key dynamics.

I like breathing in the energy of new beginnings around New Moons. This one is a good reminder to accept feedback for the sake of personal growth.

Back in my late teens and early 20s, I remember when my thespian friends encouraged me to get into acting. Given my tendency to be less open to stepping outside of my comfort zone at that time in that way, I dismissed their recommendation; in spite of a natural gift for entertaining fantasy, pretending and playing cat and mouse in the theater of life.

But then again, that’s just part of being human. And learning how to be human is a process, and works best when we’re patient and kind to our minds and our selves.

Looking back in the rearview mirror, I wasn’t foreign to the spotlight following me around or having an audience. In my experience, I felt safe with impressing others, and receiving praise and admiration from them. Truly, a disease to please was a good frenemy, and security in my consciousness for years to come.

And yet, when I would become conscious of stepping into the limelight, it was easy for me to clam up, get taken over by stage fright, and then feel at a loss. Given my hard times with criticisms, it’s taken me a long time to learn how to be vulnerable by leaning into them and embrace criticisms as agents of change.

During my tenure on the planet, I have noticed how challenging it can be to not get defensive with folks; especially the ones whose criticisms pour liberally from their mouths, like an unsolicitedly peddled powder keg.

However, a gentle and open gaze at criticisms can open up pathways for internal shifts to take place so that we can move forward.

As I look back on an old friend’s High School yearbook quote, it does make sense to rather be hated for who you are than loved for who you are not.

A compassionate gaze reveals that hate is a strong term and an unsustainable way to live. But the idea of being true to yourself allows for more abundant inner peace. Besides, giving up your power to acquiesce to the desires of others is a recipe for digesting bitter.

May this Full Sturgeon Moon light up your sea of consciousness. People talk about the dog days of August. But it is our approach to the internal and external weather patterns, and changing seasons that matter.

Fish Philosophy speaks of the critical ideas that we all have the power to choose our attitudes, and make someone’s else’s day through kindness, etc. Of course there are many ways to do this. But probably not getting into a heated debate with someone else about whose beliefs Trump another’s, if you’ll pardon the political pun. Besides, you wouldn’t really be listening to the other person anyway; rather, you’d be reacting to the voice in the head.

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Ari

A Roaring New Moon, First Harvest, Mercury In Retrograde & Full Sturgeon Moon Marks A Peak Seasonal Catch

Photo by Ardit Mbrati on Pexels.com

Tis the Leo season right now till August 21st. As always, the Lion reflects play, fun, and remembering our inner child’s dreams. It is also an opportune time to reconnect with the deepest part of ourselves. Lion knows how to play and have fun, and access our inner child’s dreams. May its medicine bring action and movement; as well as release any stagnant mindsets and situations.

Also, this week brings us the mid-point between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere aka the First Harvest of the agricultural year. It is a time to celebrate and honor the fruits of our labor, growth of the seeds of Spring, and sunlight of summer.

A New Moon on the 4th breathes in new beginnings, just as all new moons do. Dive deep within and embrace meditation as an anchor. Wait patiently for the answers you seek.

Mercury in Retrograde will happen on August 5th through 28th. I like to think of Mercury’s energy as in alignment with the Throat Chakra; the realm of communication. How are we communicating with our inner, and outer worlds and effectively bridging any apparent communication gaps?

Meditators and spiritual travelers understand that we all suffer. It’s just a cold hard fact of life. But we can use the energetics of this time period to sit with our wounds, and find ways to release our judgments and even make friends with them.

What have you learned from your wounds? What wisdom might they have for you?

Looking back, what subconscious thoughts have you felt programmed by? Tap into your psychic mind and peer into the unseen world.

A Full Sturgeon Moon occurs on August 19th, and will certainly stir up murky waters in your life. May the prehistoric energies of this old school freshwater fish steer you into a deeper sense of clarity in the treasure of your personal authority.

In spite of pain, may our wounds lead us into transformative portals of strength, confidence and courage revealing points of potential. They may never leave, but finding acceptance is possible.

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Ari

Swimming Into August With A Full Sturgeon SuperMoon, And The Clean Energetic Reinforcement Of Beetles, Bees, Caterpillars & Porcupines.

Photo by Egor Kamelev on Pexels.com

A Full Sturgeon Moon will surface down the pike on August 1st. Given August traditionally being their peak seasonal catch, these fish inspired many of our ancestors to give this moon its name. This prehistoric fish’s survival power symbolizes resiliency. We all need to build resiliency, especially in this day and age because we are leaving an old world behind and a new earth is being born.

Of course, this Full Moon goes by many names. Depending on where humans inhabited the Planet, their names noted traditional observations from our ancestors. This will be the second consecutive supermoon. Supermoons are like regular full moons on steroids.

Today, we humans can stand to meditate on Sturgeon’s strong survival instinct and adaptability. They know how to stir up murky underwater floors and swim through them. Perhaps Dylan channeled Sturgeon when he captured the lyrics, “better learn how to swim or you’ll sink like a stone, fore the times they are a changin’.”

Also, animal spirit guides like caterpillars and beetles are good reminders about the tension of shedding our old skins to clear space for a renewed sense of self. We are living in a time of great metamorphosis. These creatures dig through the earth and are an integral part of the Web of Life.

All systems resist change, humans being no exception to this scientific principle. Normally, we don’t want to change, but the nature of the circumstances are requiring us to do this on the inside and out. One way or another, the soul of humanity is evolving. We might as well become more conscious of it.

During summertime, the buzzing around of bees cross pollinating are reflective of industry and a friendly reminder that hard work pays off. Given their associations with reincarnation, their longitudinal wisdom inspires us to hone in on their spirited guidance about organizing our inner and outer worlds. Doing this helps clear space for our own program development as evolving souls.

But it is wise to remember that life is sweet like honey. In the New Golden Aquarian Age of Diversity Within Unity, we need to balance our own unique soul expressions with group consciousness. The trick is to not get ensconced into our own individual worlds or the hive mentality. Too far in either direction disrupts the equitable fluidity of the yin and yang. Moving forward into a new world ahead means co-creating more equity in a more fair and just society where everyone can thrive.

Furthermore, consider looking at bees as psychic readers. Their energies are harbingers of busier times ahead. Specifically, their energies foreshadow that it will be even more important to build self care boundaries when heading back to school and back to business. It’s hard to say goodbye to yesterday, but bee consciousness can help us fly into new zones, with particular sensitivity to our expressions in creativity and sexuality. How do you want to move into the next season of your life?

Porcupine energy resurrects a sense of innocence, faith and trust toward life’s explorative path. They don’t draw their quills unless fear is present. Otherwise, they reflect an open and passive attitude toward discovery, as well as a playful, light-hearted approach in the process of being in the moment. Meditation on their skill at climbing trees is good energy medicine. Trees are like antennas on earth that connect to the cosmos. May we awaken our spirited connection to Father Sky and Mother Earth.

During this time, use the energies of Sturgeon, Beetles, Bee, Caterpillar, and Porcupine to reinforce alignment with resiliency, industry, letting go of who we were and awakening to who we are becoming. Stay open and receptive to the signs and synchronicities that will light your way. May we shift away from our fears and lean into a renewed sense of faith and trust.

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Ari

Back To School: An Intersection Of Old And New

As I sit here writing this post, this writer took a moment to hit the pause button to reflect on a meaningful, mundane transaction on today’s to do list. Specifically, I shuttled our teenager off to their final early morning summer cross training workout.

It’s not cool to call things like that day camp or playdates anymore (all too tempting). And you don’t call it practice, it’s now called training.

To wit: it’s hard not to hear George Carlin’s spirited questionable assertion, was it ever cool to call getting together with peers or friends playdates?

A vocational internship, community service hours, college tours, soccer season and the beginning of a new school year are all happening and on our household’s horizon. With a kid in school and dad who works in them, that’s what’s up. It’s a process many parents and caregivers have experienced before.

As parents, we’re trying to be mindful of our approach, because like any responsibility, it’s easy to fall prey to the doing, become robotic, and lose sight of the sacred moments along the way. That can happen in all aspects of life, if you’re not careful.

Speaking of transitions, the one constant is change along the trails of life. Are you noticing the subtle hints of Autumn are in the early August air?

These sense experiences mix alchemically with the microscopic, minority radiance of vibrant hues of leaves turning, whilst offering an early prequel to a backdrop to Nature’s theater. May we bear witness to everything old beginning anew again.

It won’t be long till the Equinoxes are here in later September, where light and dark are equal again, and peak foliage colors the tree lines again, if only for a brief moment in time. Ah, the yin and the yang at play!

Looking ahead, our days will get shorter until the darkest day of the year on the Winter Solstice in December. However, if you live in the Southern Hemisphere, Spring is springing, and it will be the Vernal Equinox at that time. Those days will get longer until sunlight peaks on their Summer Solstice.

For the rest of us in the living moment, a Full Moon is waxing and will fully reveal itself in the second week of August. Historically, Full Moons go by different names. One of the traditional names, as indicated by many of our ancestors, is the Full Sturgeon Moon.

These mighty freshwater fish still thrive in the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain regions in the Middle of the Americas. Like turtles, sturgeons have been around at least as long as when dinosaurs roamed Mother Earth.

In much the same way as everyone else, these fish are at risk in today’s changing tides. And yet, these living fossils are still around. Moreover, sturgeons reflect the power of survivors, and as such, are symbolic of resiliency. Like the murky waters these fish stir up, we need to swim through them with resiliency in our tackle box, if you’ll pardon the pun.

But what is this resiliency we speak of? After nearly two decades of social work practice in Public Schools, it is a dream come true to see that we are paying more attention to building resiliency in school community settings.

It’s no secret that we humans come into this Earthbound experience with our own unique, prewired blueprints. While our core temperaments don’t change, our personalities are an evolving process over our life cycle.

Resiliency is something that we are equipped with, and have an aptitude for- some more than others. But we can all build resiliency, which has a positive ripple effect on each other.

Systemically, one way we can all develop our capacity for resiliency is to create and follow a self care routine. I’m a big fan of the Keep It Simple Sweetheart (KISS) model.

Like any healthy self-care routine, building resiliency starts with yourself and invites an intention and commitment to a daily routine of mindful attention.

For example, teaching more meditation, mindfulness and social emotional learning (SEL) as part of the school curriculum supports resiliency and facilitates the challenging process of learning how to be human.

Strategies like focusing on peaceful, calming thoughts, positive self talk, mindful belly breathing, relaxing our judgments and learning to be gentle on ourselves are healthy ways to build an internal state of resiliency and harmonize with our environment. Of course drinking mostly water, emphasizing consumption of plants and being more meat minimalist doesn’t hurt.

Remember that saying yes to self care means that you are saying yes to your own mental health and well being. The rising tide of Inner Peace awakening increases as the more of us become living role models of these behavioral changes. Further, the more we make waves in this dimensional shift, we will collectively see ourselves becoming the change we want to see in the world.

Here is a practical self care/SEL demonstration below in the form of the The Mirror of the Mind meditation. Regular practice of this powerful strategy will support sound mental health and well being in your daily life:

A Lion’s Truth, New Moon In Leo & Full Sturgeon Moon Down The Pike

A New Moon in Leo awakens new beginnings on July 28, 2022.

Lion’s spirit symbolizes:

Trusting our intuitive faculties, strength of will, patience and creative imagination.

Meditation on the Solar Plexus Chakra can be a helpful strategy here.

Picture the Sun living within the center point of your sternum.

Lion energy reminds us that real power cannot be forced.

Instead of striving to make things happen,

we are allowing for the arriving of what is in an organic unfolding.

Leo prefers the limelight and focusing on sunshine and rainbows.

But they have a tendency to be spitfires and bring their heat while playing with form.

When examining the Mirror of The Mind in meditation, it is wise to give contemplation to

what we want to bring down from the dreamtime into our material realm.

Doing this requires differentiating fantasy from reality.

Saying yes to life and making amigos with our egos,

are key dynamics to personality development.

An inside out approach recognizes that Life is a matrix of

performing art where the actor and spectator

intersect with one another within an immediate feedback loop.

Be mindful of Pride being Lion’s shadow side:

We all know pride can be seductive!

Wisdom reminds us to face our shadows head on,

otherwise we fall prey to their dark edges

and become shrouded by them.

Mantra: Self Love & Self Expression . . .

I know a Leo who rolls around in dew covered grass underneath a summery Full Moonshine,

as an energetic cleansing strategy to ground & connect with Mother Earth.

Practicing T’ai Chi or another form of moving meditation allows for

exploration of experiencing the power of water gradually.

We are mostly water . . .

The tide of a Full Sturgeon Supermoon rolls in on August 11, 2022.

Like turtles, sturgeons have been around so long they are often referred to as living fossils.

They have an ancient wisdom and survival instinct about them that should be mediated on.

Sturgeon awakens resiliency when facing adversity and overcoming traumatic soul wounds.

Humanity’s evolution needs to develop resiliency in our quest

for reimagining our human story so that we can change our collective narrative.

We can learn to co-regulate and co-exist with one another

so that we can mutually harmonize with our environment.

In the meantime, do whatever you can to

stay in alignment with the Universal Pillars of Love and Truth!

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Ari

The Return of Dragonfly And A Full Sturgeon Moon On Sunday, August 22, 2021

The Full Sturgeon Moon peaks on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 8:02 A.M. Eastern Time. Our ancestors named this Full Moon after Sturgeon because August traditionally represented the peak seasonal catch of these mighty fish. Fish are highly sensitive creatures, and water is a powerful conductor of sound vibration. Keep in mind that humans are made up of mostly water. It is scientifically proven that we can influence our thoughts and can co-create our reality through the power of positive self talk. Might as well give our purposeful attention toward collaborative co-creative, fluid thinking over fixed, stagnant ideas. If there’s a fish that captures the expression ‘stirring the pot’, it’s Sturgeon. Given that Sturgeon have been around for over 130 million years, they reveal a survival instinct that should catch our attention, if you’ll pardon the pun.

Spiritually, Sturgeon’s ability to thrive, in spite of the many Climate Changes they have faced over millions of years, truly reflects their resiliency. Now more than ever, humans need to cultivate resiliency on our Planet today. Like Sturgeon, we have a strong survival instinct. But we could stand to build our resiliency at this juncture so that we can weather the changes in Ages we are now facing. We need to understand our interconnection with each other and all creatures from Mother Earth and the Universe. Co-regulation means that we can be in our heads and our hearts with each other in ways that both honors our diversity and recognizes our unity.

A Full Sturgeon Moon awakens the magic of color in the theater of life.

But be careful of getting caught up in your own fantasies

of turning everything you touch into gold.

True wizardry is the knowledge that eating humble pie is good food for the soul.

Follow Dragonfly’s flight plan for a magical mystery tour.

Imagine flitting about with a playful, light-hearted sense of detachment in your energy field.

Have you ever heard of the story of the Emperor’s New Clothes?

Picture a Dragonfly to add color to your Life

Flit away any burdens your soul might be carrying

You don’t have to plug truth into a computerized search engine to learn about

what is really true and real

Are you focusing on what others are telling you?

Or are you paying attention to how people make you feel on the inside?

Dragonfly inspires us to be light on the feet –

with magical colors of waning sunlight

See through illusionary smokescreens through the

laser precision eyes of a spiritual watcher

What hidden aspects of yourself want to come out into the sun and

dance in the daylight for others to see?

A Full Sturgeon Moon signals a peak seasonal catch . . .

Might as well swim with the current instead of pushing against the primordial power of water

Dragonfly breathes magic and color

into the ordinary doings of everyday life

A long time ago . . .

Dragon had the Midas touch of always going straight for the gold

But a wise guy called Coyote tricked Dragon by shrinking him down to a fly

so that he could eat a slice of humble pie

Do you need a change in habit?

What good are your lucky charms

If you get consumed by your own facade?

Let go of the shores and surrender to Life’s oceanic bounty

Are you holding yourself back with programmed beliefs that want to

break out of their boxed in mental compartments?

Lighten up by picturing a dragonfly making dazzling aerial feats

in the wide open vastness of your infinite inner space . . .

Ask for directional guidance to see through illusionary smokescreens –

Allow transformational pathways to become self-evident truths

Summer is a powerful time to act and create change in your life!

But it won’t be long before Nature reflects a colorful transition –

when Autumn leaves behind fleeting energetic balance and fallen old selves

Life is a mystery – isn’t the destination really the adventure of the journey?

Commentary:

August is a mysterious month. It is a time where it feels very much like the heat of summer will last forever. But even early on in the month – if you look carefully, you can see subtle evidence that fall is coming. Perhaps it’s a fallen leave or a hint of color that looks out-of-place in a treeline of green. Dragonflies are colorful creatures that do incredible feats. They are good reminders that it is a magical, mysterious and colorful world out there. Use their energies to see through the smoke and mirrors and awaken a more authentic and meaningful life experience. Remember to get out and play outside and meditate on the healing application of water.

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Ari

In case you missed it, here is a Chakra meditation video demonstration that I recorded recently. You can also find a multimedia description on the meditation page of this website:

As The Sturgeons Run, The Dragonfly

A Full Sturgeon Moon arrived in the skies yesterday.

Many of our ancestors noticed these great fish run,
and liberally give us a peak seasonal catch.

This Earth, and Her creatures have given us so much of their bounty.

You’d think our Mother’s wisdom would
take root in our consciousness, and that we’d be hooked.

The time is now to give back.

You don’t have to hug a trees, go to protests,
become seduced by a savior complex, or pound your chest about your political
beliefs to convince everyone that you have all the right answers.

But what you really can do to move with climate change is become the change you
want to see in the world by noticing your own climate on the inside.

That’s damn near impossible when you’re demonizing yourself or others,
feeding off your anger, hatred, and fears.

As a living soul, you came here to experience life by waking up to
the reality that you are a spiritual being having a human experience.

We are collective souls, and we can cocreate heaven on earth.
This knowledge has been also passed on by our ancentry.

A loving blueprint was designed by Creator, and imprinted in our DNA
with the universal intention to rewire itself in our being.

Have you ever heard the saying that
today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday?

Might as well replace those fears with peaceful, calming thoughts, by
following the river of life, with all of its twists and turns
without getting damed up in our thought forms.

Be mindful of the way Dragonfly brings
the magic of color in our world.

Do you see the intersection between the energies
of dreamtime and material reality?

Dragonfly medicine shows us the ability to hover in the air,
and reflects powerful pictures of light prisms that are
captured in the eye of Nature’s still frames.

But even as the torch of the summer season wanes, there is still
an abundance of beacons to light our way.

Before long, it will be back to school, back to business,
and time to reorient to the industry of a new season.

Many people have mixed feelings about the celebratory vibrations of
summery tonic falling back into the prism of Autumn’s foilage.

Won’t be long before light and dark are equal again on the Fall Equinox.

Like many professional athletes, teachers refer to this
transition as shifting gears from the off season to adjusting
their craft of their game plan accordingly.

As children age, many of them awaken their perception to mixed feelings
about these scheduling changes that are coming down the pike.

Their are various emotional reactions to the changes in routine
that are coming down the pike.

But it is how you move with these transtions that really matter.

Remember your heads and your hearts.

Let them dance together in alignment with the spirit of the season.

Till we tweet again peeps,

Ari

Coyote Beauty

Coyote appears along the trails this week
The tides of a Full Sturgeon Moon roll in to soulful shorelines

We are about to enter into another powerful astrological eclipse season,
and Mercury in retrograde will rise again in our collective consciousness

What past selves, or old relationship issues are revisiting your consciousness?
And our greater global community?

Have you noticed recurrent themes hiding behind any internal blockages –
maybe from shortcuts or bypass lanes you might have created
to protect against new growth opportunities?

Hard to believe summer is waning in a downhill gait
Subtle evidence of Fall is whispering in the air

Squirrels are dropping acorns with greater industry
as tree limbs are shaking in preparation for cold nights ahead . . .

Can you appreciate how they channel their nervous woodland creature energy?

Coping with life anxieties is really about how you
approach these challenges as opportunities for letting go of coveted outcomes

Coyote’s wisdom is about learning how to chuckle at your follies
Balance comes through laughing at Life’s insanity
without going straight outta woodland

A feminine truth about natural and chaotic ways of unpredictable mystery,
reveals a fair and balanced security system in the magic of dark unknowing forces

So, we have con artists convincing their mirrors
that they are the gods we should follow

Just be wise to that old act, instead of fooled
into getting swept off your feet by the peddling of fear and hate

And here’s a coyote tricky truth . . .

You are as much of part of that apparent stranger on death row,
as you are part of Donald Trump

Or anyone else you either put on a pedestal or demonize

It can be hard to see yourself in the other person you criticize
or whatever they are doing that bugs you, or moves you emotionally

Behind every furrowed brow or sarcastic snicker
lives dark emotions, and a universal sadness that grieves

With potential for a deeper passage into the channels of empathy

See you down trail,

Ari

Dragonfly Lightens Up Our Inner Skies

Dragonfly lands onto soulful inner space landing pads this week
Like us, they come from primordial creative waters

The energy of Dragonfly breathes the fires of color magic
onto paintings of our everyday living portraits . . .

A Full Sturgeon Moon swims into the seas of a Lunar Eclipse
arriving down the pike at the tail end of the first week in August . . .

The rising tide of the Age of Aquarius, and astrological eclipses in August
is streaming in Love and Truth into our collective consciousness . . .

But old world blockages fortify the status quo of old ways
Even if they are no longer working for us anymore,
and suffocating on life supports systems . . .

Bowing to the devil you know doesn’t mean you ignore your better angels
Stay away from fear and hatred, and closer to relaxing on rigidity . . .

Equality is awakening our individualistic diversity within our holistic unity!

This is easier to forget when watching the military-industrial complex,
and their carpet bagging bringing of dark emotions,
like fascist thinking out into the sunlight

Those old commercials try to convince us that we in the
United States are entitled to sit on a golden throne,

At the same time, we are sold on the idea that those living certain
profiled neighborhoods overseas are of lesser value . . .

But we see the same dynamic play out right here on our own turf
in areas populated by targeted demographics that include the poor and oppressed

Remember to keep it light with Dragonfly as a spiritual ally!

Till we meet again on the field,

Ari

Climbing the Trails with Mountain Lion

Mountain Lion hides in caverns, cracks and crevices
Their energies reflect silent leadership and strong feminine power

Yin is rising toward Autumn’s ascension

Feminine power is strongest when cultivated gradually
through a gentle and soft approach

A Full Sturgeon Moon floats
into our stream of consciousness on August 18th

Humans have been programmed to be afraid of the dark
Which is why it is tempting keep the blinders on and go back to sleep

But the light of consciousness wants to shine on
what we were once blinded by

That could be learning something new about yourself or someone you know
Perhaps that new information does not sit well with your preconceived notions

In that light, maybe the shades of your worldview has been forced to lift

But Nature reflects storms brewing that require us to pay attention
to the subtleties of the changing seasons

Cats remind us of the magic, mystery and synchronicity
that lurk behind shadows and dark areas

What self-evident truths want to leap out into the waning sunlight?

The Autumn Equinox is coming soon in later September
Between Tao and Zen we will experience an astrological eclipse season

At that time, light and dark energies will be fleetingly equal again
Masculine and feminine energies will be in alignment with one another

What winds of change are brewing in the air up there?

When I think of how maddening it is to hold onto the shores,
I remember the wisdom of letting go and letting God

Because what we resist will persist

It does feel less crazy to float with the current
and trust the process without throwing caution to the wind

See you further on up the trails,

Ari
