Tough Trails, and Happy Feet

Hi Folks,

I am going to shift my traditional weekly footwork with this week’s unexpected switchback.

Our hiking trio reached our collective zenith by reaching the summit of our goal of climbing 48, 4000 footers in New Hamphire’s ancient White Mountains recently. We ended our accomplishment by visiting the Bonds. There’s not a bad view in the Whites, but the views of this side of the mountains was truly epic. My hats of to the Croo at Galehead Hut – you guys rock!

What can I say, our journey was a peak experience, coupled with amazing vistas, and unpredictable weather patterns. You really have to do some leg work to earn your steps, so to speak.

But with lots of moving parts of family responsibilities, and life cycle doings over almost the last decade, I wanted to share our achievement with you.

Also, as one of your earthling peers, I highly recommend you get out in Nature, and enjoy the ride.

Till the next trail mark,

Ari
