Firing Up the Chinese New Year with Monkey

Synchronizing with a New Moon in Aquarius on Monday

Monkey fires up smart and powerful images in Chinese culture especially –
Reflecting qualities of ambition, adventure and irritability by our close relatives

Like Aquarius, Monkeys are eclectic with strong intellects
There is a sense of doing their own thing
But they also have an intense desire to connect with others
in socially conscious ways

Monkey dreams symbolize a soulful need to feel connected in community
It’s hard to feel alienated and isolated when we feel a sense of belonging

Monkey’s energy embodies mischievousness, cleverness and curiosity
By George, they can come across as merry naughty pranksters

When exhibiting monkey-like wit, intelligence and magnetism . . .
Be mindful of how your humor might repel others and might cause hurt feelings

And when you’ve been tricked by a monkey . . .
Try not to take life too seriously
“it’s only life after all”

Humor has a way of getting into our bones so that
we can look at things differently through a lighter lens

We can all stand to learn from Monkey’s eccentric nature by loosening our firm grip
by allowing playfulness and entertainment to stimulate our souls

True, our more serious of minds tend to get put off
by their sly and restless orientation

Creative solutions require ingenuity and resourcefulness

Just imagine how much good could be done with all the political money that
is wasted on commercialism, self-promotion
and advertising in American politics

Isn’t it interesting to see how the militaristic Empire shoots down Bernie Sanders
for flying into an Aquarian “we” consciousness zone?

Sanders is not new to the political football field
He just calls for a new offensive scheme that is in alignment with
a new way of doing business through win-win play calling

The time is Tao to throw away the old business as usual
conservative play calling that sells an evil is as evil does feigned choice

We do not have to buy into the commercial that says that
Power to the people can’t win

Instead of pounding our chests to patriotic God Bless American anthems
We swing to the soulful tunes of God Bless Mother Earth

Movement toward economic equality and leveling impulses
are perceived by some as a threat to our system

This land was made for Aquarian unity!

Humans, like monkeys do have a natural way of
compassion, understanding and bonding

When Nature is cultivated and supported, its jungles grow organically
And we all blossom from that kind of gardening!

Groundhog Day Resurrected

Groundhog Day comes out of hiding this week
May we be inspired to face our shadow sides while tunneling through
dark nights of our souls during Winter’s wake

Isn’t the labyrinth of our inner tapestry an expansive and deeply mysterious place?

But with the ascent of yang rising toward alignment with darkness
Spring Equinox arrives in March . . .

Bringing energetic balance to the Force

But before that, a Chinese Year of the Monkey
swings in next week to signify a new Lunar calendar year ahead
and remind us of the power of community

We are digging further into a New Age of Aquarian unity
Reawakening us to the reality that we are all in this together . . .

Regardless of our superficial differences to the naked eye
or cursory glance of illusionary divisions

You are not alone

A beacon of light is becoming harder to ignore

Groundhog’s seasonal sleep –
reflects death without dying

If only we allow the light to illuminate the shadows

Remember Winter’s death breathes life into Spring’s rebirth . . .

Purposeful underground digging allows for seeds of our
subconscious minds to walk in the sunlight

If you peer into Nature, you will see examples of life and death everywhere
But we do not have to physically die to experience rebirth

Consider a game plan for this lifetime that gives you an opportunity to
play every down like it’s your last

Make sure it is you that commands the call for the
boundaries on the playing field that you want respected

Remember to maintain your own integrity in your daily business transactions

Take a deep breath of fresh air in every living moment . . .
And then exhale its death and let go of it . . .

Awaken to the metaphor of reincarnation …
Transform the Law of Cause and Effect –

Realize that you are a creation of your thoughts
Become conscious of them and transform your thoughts
so they are in alignment with the Golden Rule

See this reflect in your everyday outer reality as our collective Higher Truth . . .

Out of the Body Experiences with Penguin

Penguin leaps out of the water and takes flight into the air
In this space, we are propelled out of our bodies . . . .

Meditation on Penguin awakens powers of dreaming lucidly
We are given access to multidimensional exploration . . .

Our souls leave behind our temples to venture deeper into
alternate states of the astral plane

Gently connect with the tides of this Full Wolf Moon to
psychically stream into your dream-team

May our spiritual wings power our vessels further
into oceanic depths of the Dreamtime

Meditation offers us safe passages for traveling inward
into the vast galaxies of our inner skies with
a safe haven anchored back in this Earth

But facing physical death is an unknown transition . . .

Losing our loved ones to death can be rough on the living
Unexpected deaths can especially leave us feeling angry,
confused, depressed and with deep sadness

Sometimes we just want to hide away from the rest of the world

We survivors are reminded of our own mortality
and feel survivor’s guilt as well as struggle with the lack of control
that we truly have for what happens to us

But we can control how we respond to these tragedies
Painful as it is to taste this bitter aspect of life –
We might as well do the best we can to lean into our feelings and be vulnerable

We are here to learn how to cope with life’s stress in the living moment
while we are still breathing

Make peace with yourself and with your loved ones who have passed on
You can help them ascend through the power of surrender and forgiveness

Get out alone in Nature and sit in the elements for a spell
If you are uncomfortable or having a hard time sitting with what is . . .

Free yourself to get down with the elements and just “let it be” . . .
This is a healthy way to loosen our entanglements with form

Doesn’t the cold chill in your bones from the wind
remind you that you are still alive?

And then isn’t the forecast of a scalding hot shower, saltwater bath or fire
something to look forward to?

Let go of that thought for a moment and just be mindful
of your surroundings and let yourself quiet down

Pretty soon, the animals will speak up and do their thing
What messages does Nature have for you to receive?

Let your inner child remember the surprise birthday party of every moment
Expectations are forgotten as exploration and discovery is your experience

May we be empowered to flex our co-creative dreaming muscles consciously –
so that we can weave them into our waking reality

We have explored how the Empire prefers to remain hidden by going unexamined
As such, we have been told a patriarchical story that
glamorize a dominant script of masculine power

But the Emperor Penguin is a good role model for redefining masculinity . . .
Showing us that Father Sun nurtures Mother Earth with loving warmth

Historically, a nurturing role has typically been ascribed to women and femininity
Penguin alters our traditional ideas of gender roles into a

New dream for humanity where we sew creative feminine threads
Woven together into a new masculine tapestry with energetic equanimity

Donald Trump personifies hiding behind the surface of this primal emotion
Just observe how he feels justified in building a Berlin Wall around his heart
and greedily buys into a segregationist us and them mentality –
Capturing those sentiments shared by the Fear Factor in others

But Bernie Sanders strikes a chord of an Aquarian we consciousness that resonates
with the collective will of the people in much the same way
as Civil Rights activists transformed their anger into positive and constructive action
Like him, many of us understands that we are all in this together

A more fair and just society belongs to all of us . . .
Equality means that the voices of black folks, GLBTQ people
and others that are marginalized
are just as important for us to hear as humans that sit in privilege

Economic strangulation suffocates all of us, whether realized or not

Dream a Lucid Dream with Loon

Loon now chimes into our Dreamtime . . .

Mercury is in Retrograde again –

Offering a deepening appreciation for increased
communication breakdowns in logical and left-brain systems

Swimming with Loon guides us into intuitive streams of thought and
powerful currents of feminine waters, creative contemplations and meditations

Powers of lucid dreaming are stronger now

Groundhog Day and a Chinese New Year of the Monkey
Arrive in early February

By then, underground seeds of spring will begin subtly stirring

But for now, Loon guides us further into the waters of our souls
Singing resurface songs to free our submerged selves

Reawakening old wishes and dreams hoping to come up for air
Perhaps their energies have been caught up in underwater stagnation

Imaginative Dreamtime wants to illuminate their slumbering darkness

The old ways of the status quo are outdated roadmaps for new business

Death is in the air this time of year in the Northern hemisphere . . .

But death without dying through lucid dreaming is a real possibility
So there is no need to be spooked by the resurrection of old ghosts

Yes, our bodies will expire . . .
But they are vessels that require nurturing for safe travels
Might as well balance work, play, rest and diet is spiritual health for our souls

The death of Winter evokes a soul facing its ultimate mortality
Part of our work here is to soften our human attachments

Hawk Circling Around Here Again

In the wake of the visionary air of Hawk

Yes, the corporate media serves up more bad news for us to gobble up

You can see that play out in our world today in economic mobster like fashion

It takes a nation of robotically controlled dinosaurs to deplete

all had equal access to the resources we need?

Instead of selling out to an Imperial massive welfare
funneled straight from your checkbooks to a privileged and dominant minority . . .

the black truth about what is going on in organizations –
even if they are not privy to the happenings behind closed doors

Our darkest day of the year before we begin to coax back the light

Seasons hold up mirrors revealing that

In much the same way as our world is evolving . . .

Fossilized old world coins printed in a business as usual love story
Will crystallize into an egoless new world economy

Time to open your hearts to the idea of investing in loss
to cash in on win-win outcomes measured by the
exponential growth of getting what you no longer want

The time is now to honor the spirits of our ancestors
and let go of yesterday’s old wounds

May we give back the baggage that was handed down to us
and ask them to lighten their load by shedding dead skin
