It’s The Eye Of The Tiger In The Chinese New Year on Tuesday, February 1, 2022

In Chinese Astrology, Tiger’s cycle of power is around the darkness of New Moons and the brightness of Full Moons. Specifically, this is the Year of the Tiger, according to the Chinese Lunar New Year. Unlike the Gregorian calendar that follows the Sun, the Chinese calendar follows the Moon. It is both a New Year and a New Moon on February 1, 2022.

According to ancestral legend, Tiger settled for third place in the Celestial Race, climbing out of the river believing he finished first, after the cunning Rat jumped the diligent Ox for the win. When the Buddha summoned all the animals for his first teachings, Tiger was among those creatures that showed up.

The energy of Tiger invites meditation on personal space. In general, Tiger people tend to have a strong sense of freedom, fiercely independent streak, keen sense of justice, and dream of changing the world. They are also notorious for being prideful, authoritative and self accepting. Because they have a tendency for being cute and charming, they might get away with some of their other traits like rebellion, challenging the status quo and breaking apart traditions, to the chagrin of the rule followers and protectors of conservatism.

Cats in general are nocturnal creatures that see effectively in the dark, thus representing the mystery of life. Humans can develop an attitude about cats because they do their own thing, like people that are considered free-spirited. I learned how to meditate from cats.

How can they be so relaxed, seemingly asleep and docile, and then immediately become alert, suddenly be on all fours and ready to take action?

Specifically, the spiritual energy of Tiger represents passion, power, devotion and sensuality. These areas can awaken within, especially during this year of the Tiger. New adventures can awaken new passion and power within your life.

Notice what happens to your sensitivity to touch. Sense awareness is an everyday part of mindfulness that you can breathe into the moments of your daily routine.

Human spiritual activists like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Thich Nhat Hanh were drawn to each other, influenced one another and developed a sacred bond. MLK Day is a national holiday in America and is celebrated on January 17. The Chinese New Year either falls in January or February, depending on the Moon cycle. February is Black History Month. Although these two spiritual leaders were known for their peaceful and non-violent practices, including Civil Disobedience for doing the right thing, they were considered radicals by the Establishment. King was assassinated for standing up against society’s injustices, while Hanh has spent most of his life living in exile from his native country of Viet Nam for challenging the status quo.

Meditation on the Sun and the Moon reveals the omnipresence of the Yin and Yang in Nature and how it reflects in our everyday lives.

Meditation on the Chinese symbol of the Yin and the Yang teaches us that balance is key. There will always be masculine in feminine, sun in moon, and light in dark.

Even in crisis, there is opportunity, as it says in the I-Ching.

Life is not without its darkness. In modern society, we have been taught to fear the dark, that darkness is bad or that the light is good. But this is not so because you cannot have the yang without the yin.

When you close your eyes to meditate, you are taking a step into primordial darkness, or the Womb of Life. Black is symbolic of creation, as is water.

Further movement into a New Aquarian Age supports both the identity of the individual and how they interact with the group consciousness. Diversity within Unity.

In American culture, Groundhog Day is a popularly celebrated holiday that takes place on February 2nd.

In this popular ritual, a groundhog comes out of hibernation for everyone to witness whether this creature will see its shadow or not. As the story goes, if the groundhog sees its shadow, then we will have to wait six more weeks till spring. Or if it doesn’t see his shadow, then spring will come early.

But long before that, our ancestors also honored this day as the Imbolc, or the approximate mid-point between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.

Moreover, they also realized, that the Spring (Vernal) Equinox always happens on March 20th, and reflects equality between the light and dark. After that, masculine/yang/light energies will continue to rise till their climax on the Summer Solstice on June 20th, the longest day of sunlight in the Northern Hemisphere.

Regardless, the spiritual energy of Groundhog is significant at this time, as Groundhog symbolizes death without dying. Groundhog medicine reflects that the energy of Winter is a time to go into the dark, turn inward, slow down, rest and be quiet.

This shamanic process of alchemy is when we can transform who we are now (death of the old self) through rebirth of who we are becoming (without actually dying). The death of Winter can bring grieving of the old self, whilst the rebirth of Spring can awaken seeing from new visits.

When I think about stories of Buddhist monks who set themselves on fire in protest of the injustices of occupation, I think about the sacrificial lamb/savior complex remnants of the dying Pisces Age. We will need to let go of this tendency as we surrender to the transition into the new consciousness of the Aquarian Age. We can be light of Christ Consciousness without carrying the heavy burden of the Cross. The energy of surrender helps you focus on your heart and your feelings. Surrender is necessary to let go of old patterns that prevent you from opening up your heart. Surrender makes your fear vanish.

In a Karmic sense, we can experience reincarnation in this lifetime through deaths and rebirths during the natural cycle of the season. We can intentionally work out our karma by making connections between cause and effect, and even transcending it.

Meditation on Groundhog can help you with that.

Learning to think in the death and rebirth of moments can help stimulate this process. Remember to come back to the home of your breath.

In this early stage of a New Age and Paradigm, we are facing escalating crisis and intensifying chaos. All you have to do is look at the outer world events and turn within to and feel your awakening.

It is a process that is shines in the rays of Love and Truth. But it is also with its share of dark and stormy weather, which does not make for smooth sailing.

Trust in your personal authority, your inner royalty and stay in alignment with the power of your Higher Self.

In this year of the Tiger, call on this big cat to shed light on the darkness so that you can see effectively in the dark like a cat does. This is a powerful trait to adopt, as mystery is a hallmark of the Universe, especially in the early days of this New Aquarian Age.

Having a spiritual outlook on life and a regular mediation practice is critical and will help support you along your way.

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Even In Darkness, There Is Light and In Death, There Is Rebirth

Artwork by Barbara Merlotti

Growing up, Mother’s depression was a suffocating and

crippling darkness that shrouded over me like a dark cloud.

She reflected on her experiences with depression by describing them

like storms that took her over like demonic possession.

I remember when Mother described how terrifying it was for her

when she crossed into the realm of psychosis,

and lost perspective on how to differentiate between reality testing of madness and lucidity.

This was a woman who would voluntarily check herself into

a psychiatric hospitalization and then break herself out.

But I can appreciate being stupid like a fox or a con artist conning himself.

Been there, done that.

Looking back, seeing Mother’s Higher Self being dominated by her lower self

was enough to drive me nuts.

As much as it was hard for her to breathe,

it was hard for those of us around her to breathe in her experiences with depression.

This happens to therapists, teachers, coaches, parents

and caregivers when they see their clients, students, athletes and children

getting stuck and falling short of their potential.

Such as the paradoxical self reflective truth of authentic reality testing.

Living closely with someone affected by crippling depression

can feel like the weight of the world on your shoulders.

This experience of internalized oppression is frequently felt

systematically by Black Indigenous People of Color

vis a vis the heaviness of institutionalized racism and colonization.

It was hard for Mother to not develop an attitude about her mental health,

in much the same way as it is for some BIPOC

and Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer people

who wrestle with their own experiences with internalized oppression.

Recently, I had an authentic conversation with someone,

and learned that they grew up with a parent who was “an undiagnosed sociopath.”

Talk about a feeling.

People like that parent and President Trump need mental health treatment the most,

but have a tendency to seek or accept it the least.

From their perspective, they don’t have a problem because

someone or something else is to blame and it’s on the rest of us to fix it.

Their level of narcissism and entitlement have insidiously

been woven into every fabric of their being.

That is why Trump’s own fans booed him when he told them to get the vaccine.

Their frontman’s advice was contrary to their engrained worldview,

which he merely helped spin.

But remember that those hardest to love need it the most.

Getting sucked into the vicious cycle of depression

is somewhat akin to the generational trauma

of poverty, learned helplessness, and victimization.

It can feel overwhelmingly impossible to find the strength

to transcend the experience of internalized oppression.

The universal truth is, we all suffer.

Competitive suffering doesn’t help relax that.

But having empathy for another’s suffering does.

Unplugging and liberation from the ghettos of the mind and mental enslavement

are a Dionysus like dismemberment of attachments

that have eaten at your soul and weighed you down.

Our ancestors have passed down this luggage to us that we are carrying in this lifetime.

May they walk with us to support us in our healing.

Decolonization is a process.

The time is now for a purification to release the death of the old self

with an energetic imprint of gratitude and letting go.

In these changing tides, may we surf these waves with mindful awareness.

Take care of yourselves everyone,

Ari

A Strawberry Full Moon, and a Powerful Eclipse Season

When I think of June,
I reflect on the energies of Butterfly,
and the powerful transformation they symbolize.

A Full Strawberry Moon arrives on Friday, June 5th.

It is also a Lunar Eclipse, marking the beginning of an
atypical three eclipses during an astrological eclipse season.

A Solar Eclipse adds heat to the normally rising intensities of
peak sunlight light during Summer Solstice on June 20th,
while the Winter Solstice comes about in the Southern hemisphere.

As such, it will be the longest day of light or night,
depending on where you are on Planet Earth.

The day after that, a New Moon reflects new beginnings of a new season.

And then the last Lunar Eclipse arrives on July 4,
Independence Day in the United States, followed by
a Full Buck Moon on July 5th.

Remember that Deer is symbollic of gentle allurment
into new adventures in consciousness.

Everything is changing so rapidly in the Universe today.

It is more important than ever to be gentle, and kind
on ourselves, and with our one human family.

But that can be challenging when examining institutionalized oppression,
like awakening to the reality of white privilege, white supremacy,
and resentments that run deep from those power imbalances.

What is underneath the protests, and rioting going on right now?

The truth is, nobody wins from abuses of power,
not even those on top of the pyramid.

A system that is set up to divide, and conquer winners versus losers
is unjust, and immoral – regardless of what line in the sand you stand.

Notice how the growing cost of these disparities invite more chaos
to level the playing field.

And then watch how chaos fuels increased security controls,
like the militarization of the police as people take to the streets.

But now more than ever, with the virus affecting our planet, and
the down-bound economic train affecting the human plight –

It appears more self-evident to me that the movement of labor pains are
intensifying as an old world dies, and a new one is being born.

We have been discussing this theme for many years now in this blog.

This is analgous to the way many people choose to have another child,
after their first experience with childbirth –
often do so because they often forget how painful giving birth is,
and how much work the labor of love is during the early stages of child rearing.

Some people say that about forgetting the reason we might choose
to incarnate as a soul on the Earth, or make the agreement to become mortal.

The miracle of childbirth is akin to any rebirth,
as well as the birth of a New Earth.

And within the blessing of these miracles,
there are also courses in curses.

Going back to the familiarity of an old world,
and an old paradigm is akin to the better the devil you know mentality.

Back when Lincoln was President, a lot of people didn’t want
to end slavery or deal with the consequences of systemic change.

Same thing with the 60s, when old roles, and ways of doing
things were changing, as is always the case during
cultural wars, like we are in right now.

There are those who say they just want things to go back to normal.

And yet, the normal we all knew was really a nightmare that was
merely the better devil otherwise known as a security blanket in consciousness.

Some people call the Age of Aquarias a great awakening of
our superhuman powers, a new human, or Homo Luminosity.

When we focus on the positive, and look for the silver lining, it doesn’t
mean that we don’t notice the dark, and stormy.

That would be like an ostrich burying its head in the sand,
or a toddler plugging its ears, and making noise to tune out
the unwanted perceptual experience.

What it does mean is that we can focus on our breath or a mantra to
help us be in the present moment, and realize that we can’t control
everything that happens to us.

Instead of paying attention to the 10,000 things that are waiting to
distract us from the truth of who we really are, we are training our selves
to pay purposeful attention to waking up to self-actualization, or our soul purpose.

But, to a much larger degree, we can control how we respond or
react to what comes our way.

Yeah, it does take work to adjust to the changes that accompany
movement from a grub to a caterpillar to a butterfly.

It is unrealistic to spiritually bypass one form over the other.

Before you can fly in the heavens,
you have to learn how to move along on the ground.

May we recognize the butterfly effect of our actions.

What are you building in the shadow areas?

What will they look like if they were to come out into the sunlight?

Through the polorizing rise in nationalism, and globalism, we can relax this
barrier by stepping into a unified field of awareness.

Just imagine the possibilities of sustainable green energy jobs, access to
energetically clean resources, like quality education, health care, meaningful
work for our human family, and all sentient beings.

Many people were very skeptical when the New Deal came about during
The Great Depression era in the United States.

But when the private sector dried up, and people were without jobs, there was no
more hiding behind the veil of band-aids, and skeleton life support systems.

Humanity does have a tendency to be at our best, when we are at our worst.
And humans do have a strong survival instinct, and are socially driven creatures.

We are creatively cognitive creatures craving meaning with deep feelings.
You can try to quell those with a garden variety of distractions.

But at the end of the day, it would be like
trying to convince a grub to not turn into a caterpillar,
or trying to con a caterpillar not to transform into a butterfly.

See you further along the trails,

Ari

Please feel free to check out my recent you tube video with my coworker friend Nick Bucci, and featured guest Paul Knoll:

Groundhog Day

The Imbolc is coming, which represents the mid-point
between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.

And the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Pig comes on
February 5th, along with a New Moon the day before that

So the new energies of a new year are still strong right now . . .

Of course in The United States, the popular
Groundhog Day tells us if we have six more weeks of winter,
depending on whether or not the groundhog sees his shadow.

The energy of Groundhog awakens the death of the old self
without actually physically ending your life.

I wonder how many suicides could be prevented if, or even
the public’s general fear of death might relax,
if a healthy energetic diet of
Groundhog medicine was more consistently consumed?

Changing seasons, death without dying,
and even physical death itself,
is merely a transition.

Like the Law of Transience teaches us,
all life is not without change.
It’s one constant that we can count on.

Given that groundhogs hibernate in winter,
and dig elaborate underground homes,
it makes perfect sense that they symbolize
digging into our subconscious,
to see what might be hiding beneath
the shadows of our conscious reality.

Meditation on Groundhog can awaken a sense that
there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Use these energies to be curious about what feelings have been
simmering cautiously beneath the surface of your conscious experience with reality

Perhaps they will lead you into the depth of your humanity and personal divinity

Just a shift in perspective can literally transform
the way the world looks right in front of your eyes . . .

See you onward along the trails,

Ari

A New Moon, Election, and Vision to see Transformation Ahead

I remember hearing an amazing story recently,
about a hawk swooping out of the sky,
and then unexpectedly offering a freshly killed snake,
as a surprise gift along the path of a startled traveler . . .

Given that Hawk symbolizes the power of observation,
we are invited to see what messages are being sent to us from Spirit . . .

What does Snake have to say to you about the power
of fire that burns within our soul?

Election Day swoops in tomorrow,
along with a New Moon on Wednesday . . .

The winds of change are swirling around in the air!

Hawk has connections with New Moons,
and Mercury . . .

And at the tail end of next week, we will be revisited by
Mercury in Retrograde again.

Many people experience spacing out more at that time, or feel like
they are walking in a Twilight Zone kind of reality.

But Mercury in Retrograde is also a good time to look at things
in a different light, venture deeper into the dark,
and give rise to a new moon shine through a wider angle lens.

Of course New Moons are always associated
with new beginnings . . .

Our ancestors believed that the wall between the
spirit and material realms relaxed at this time of year,
making it easier for our different worlds to intersect.

If you magnify that with the energies streaming in right now,
it might be tempting to get sucked into your fears,
and find yourself coming from places of hate . . .

But try to trust in the Universe, and its vibration of
Love and Truth to light our way together, as we
move further into a new connections.

It is a good time to meditate on letting go of old ways, old boxes,
shedding the conditioning of our old skins,
so that we can awaken to new,
more porous ways of being at this time.

Snake reflects metamorphosis . . .
Yesterdays shadows want to transform into the light of healing

Perhaps you venture down into a snake hole in your consciousness,
and see how you can come up with new eyes to look at
your past fears in a fresh way . . .

Emotions are waxing now, and will be further amplified
by a Full Beaver Moon on November 23rd.

Beavers are epic builders, and like to get their work done
before swamps freeze for the Winter . . .

I think about how many of our Founding Fathers were Freemasons,
and that their animal totems empowered them to create in a new industry,
while building a New World back then.

Perhaps this could be an invitation into the realm of Temperance
regarding anger about their ignorance of their injustices at that time,
in spite of the Divine expression that manifested as the Constitution.

But consider that people didn’t even know that
dinosaurs existed on this planet
at the time when this sacred document was written.

What is looked upon as conventional science today,
can easily become yesterday’s dinosaur!

The will of the people are speaking up.
We might as well hear the messages that are being spoken!

Today, we are waking up again to new perspectives,
frontiers, and ways of being together.

Till we tweet again peeps,

Ari

Back to School

A Full Sturgeon Moon already passed us by, and it’s back to school,
back to business is in the air . . .

But summer hasn’t ended yet,
till Autumn begins in less than a month on September 22

The eclipse season might be over,
but its aftershocks are still alive . . .

Changes in ages are like changes in seasons

Everything is ephemeral and transitory
But all life is energetic and sacred nonetheless

Have you noticed the squirrels, and chipmunks scurrying about,
and foraging like mad in their preparation for winter stockpiles?

It must run in the family, because groundhogs are gorging before
they go to sleep when consistently colder temperatures arrive

Perhaps I’m making erroneous assumptions, but in their industry,
they don’t seem preoccupied with the impending dark and stormy days ahead

Are you someone who looks forward to the crisp air,
dimming light, and colorful foliage?

Or do you dread saying good-bye to summer because fall
reminds you that winter is too close for comfort?

Like the weather, these emotional realities are fleeting,
and opposite sides of the same coin.

Might as well allow yourself to have these experiences,
observe them without judgment, and take them in as learning tools!

Like the current political climate,
resisting them isn’t going to change anything.

But you can get in alignment with the changes,
and harmonize with your environment.

“Agent Orange” in the White House is a cold, hard fact of life

But the current markets are likely to crash regardless of
whether or not he remains the President

The will of the people marches to the beat of a more
equitable, fair and just global economy

Yet wouldn’t it be ironic if We the People
were to say, “you’re fired.”?

People have been conditioned to believe that
maximum economic profit is the only way to live

The puppet masters want you to believe that private means better, and
that you should compete against your neighbor for a bigger piece of the pie

But a vibrational shift in the direction of an awakening inner peace
doesn’t mean you just sit around doing nothing, and not taking action.

If you see injustices, be like Dr. King and
connect with them head on with love.

When you become a beacon of love, light and laughter,
you are effectively dismantling the Military-Industrial-Complex

But not when you are complaining incessantly about Trump, the woes
of the world, and the abusive charlatans in positions of power

I hardly think that blue jays could spin greater
master illusionism than the fake news and quackery out there today

May we all do our part by being true wizards by
becoming the change we want to see in the world!

These internal shifts can be powerfully action-oriented,
like not feeding into spreading rumors and gossip.

Internal martial arts are intentional acts of
civil disobedience and non-violence.

When we practice in this dimension, you become a role model for a New Age
that is predicated on being your own unique diverse expression of a unified whole!

I know a lot of people who are feeling the
rapid pace of living in the world today,

It can be hard to respond to the hurry up offense
But you aren’t giving up when you surrender to the will of the Universe

Rather, you find the courage to rise up, and stand in your own personal
authority to show what the New Age of Aquarius can look like

You reveal this reality to people as it reflects from your energy field
toward someone else, even a stranger on the street

Don’t get caught up in who is or isn’t conscious or appreciative of it

Just being in this space will naturally inspire others in your orbit,
if not now, then when the time is right for it to awaken in them

Many folks are going through changes in latitudes and changes of latitudes
Relationships are part of those energetic shifts . . .

A family member that you once felt a close connection to
now might appear like an effort to get along with in the way that you want

Even more trying could be a rift in a marriage or domestic partnership

Are you burned out in a job, or feeling like you need
a fresh start in a new location?

Full Moons, changing seasons, and new ages bring these
issues to the forefront

Spiritual awakenings, and growth do that too.

Have you rebelled against convention, and traditional relationships,
and are now wondering if you should open up to explore them with an open heart?

Conversely, have you bought into doing things
conventionally and traditionally, and are now feeling moved to
become more free-spirited, with a strong desire to explore other ways of
expressing yourself in relationship?

Wherever you are at on your soul journey . . .

Be there with a compassionate heart,
and gentle softness along your communion with fellow travelers

Beaming much love, inner peace, and happiness to all of you as
you travel along the trails of your life,

Ari

Snaking Along the Trails

Snakes are slithering around in shady areas beneath the sunlight these days . . .

As such, their poisonous venom can strengthen spiritual growth

Like the energy of Snake, bullying is a strong term,
and carries a scorching bite in today’s headlines . . .

But it certainly isn’t a new phenomenon

If you get real about it, most humans have been on both
the giving and receiving end of the bullying coin . . .

As unfair and one-sided as bullying is, bystander power is an opportunity
to become an ally, and make a conscious decision
to take a stance to promote equanimity

In these days of fake news, and con artist running the show,
it can feel overwhelming to stick to the facts,
and be impeccable with your word

To wit: “the corporate media are only as liberal
as the conservative businesses that own it”

So “don’t hate the media, become the media.”

Be true to yourself, and practice speaking your truth from
a place of inner peace when standing in your own personal authority!

Just look at the opportunities for growth
in the new skins of a dimensional paradigm shift

The energy of Snake embodies transformation . . .

What old part of yourself wants to die, shed its old skin,
and awaken a new unmasking of yourself . . .

“Anger is the bodyguard of fear”

Chew on that for a moment . . .

Is your chattering monkey mind,
and subsequent emotional reactions disguised manifestations
of headaches that stem from unexpressed anger?

If you slither down the snake holes, what fears do you unearth?

Here’s to discovering inner peace along the trails of your walking meditation!

Revisiting Our Cardinal Virtues

Do you hear Cardinal whistling a prequel
to the intensities of Summery breezes blowing in the wind?

When I think about suicide, and reflections of some of Anthony’s Bourdain’s
comments about his own arrested development, tasting desperate, privilege,
and the tension of opposites he felt about his
personal wrestling with the interplay between order and chaos . . .

I can understand how he would have had enough of
the pain and suffering in this world, and felt like it was time to check out

Truth is, it can be hard to suck it up, get up,
and keep moving forward in the natural school of Hard Knox . . .

The trick is to learn how to make friends with your inner angels and demons,
and integrate your past selves with the new beginnings of your rebirth . . .

Can you hear Cardinal’s virtuous voice singing
songs about the winds of change blowing in?

Her chorus echoes a callback about empowering us to transition
into the vibration of an innate feminine power!

Perhaps you see yourself as a generalized, intense masculine charged,
get things done, taskmaster doer!

That’s OK, so long as you don’t get identified with that role
Otherwise, you can bet your bottom dollar on a slippery slope ahead . . .

Connect with your heart, let her light your way with your head held high,
with a wide angled gaze in your field of vision . . .

It can be challenging to tune into Nature’s mixed messages that blow in
different directions around our Planet

On one perch, Cardinal reminds us to nurture our own life force –
But too much fire from the sun’s rays can burn you at the stake

Might as well remember to wax on our creative energies
and wash our feminine selves with the watery tides of our intuitive faculties

Time to come out of hiding behind the shadows,
and let your inner light shine like the sun

Meditation on Cardinal’s energy awakens
exploration of traditional, old school values . . .

These re-discoveries are divergent planetary systems of thought
from unconventional beliefs that are worth remembering

Masculine yang gains ground,
while Summer Solstice reveals peak sunlight later this month,

Follow the moonlight toward the Monty of a Full Strawberry Moon
when it bears its fruit at the tail end of the June . . .

See you next time along the trails,

Regal Seats with Kingfisher

When Kingfisher dives from the treetops into the water – in their catching fish,
these birds show us reflections of new paths, prosperity, and peace

These energies are amplified by the compassionate brightness of
Buddha’s sweet breath of a fragrant Full Pink Moon

This dying old world focuses on a rigid systemic mantra of maximum economic
profit that capitalizes on winners and losers . . .

This segregated matrix proliferates feelings of
rejection, alienation, abandonment, and isolation . . .

But Kingfisher is a healthy radical reminder that abundance is everywhere!

Life has its share of pain, trials, tribulations, and suffering
Mental illness and addiction are taking lives that matter

But Mother Earth’s children can learn from Kingfisher’s energy
that life can be harmoniously enjoyable, and prosperous as well …

New experiences and pathways of inner discovery are waiting to come untapped
Water is a source of creativity, and novel ways of thinking

When leaning into our feelings, and opening up to fluid, free thinking,
We can see down waterways toward sunlight on the horizon . . .

May we awaken our mental and spiritual faculties so that
we can cultivate intuition, and psychic perception . . .

Planted feet on the ground is a centered place for standing meditation . . .

Preface and timing are essential ingredients to luring in opportunities
But letting go of outcome is good medicine to “quit taking it personally”

Dreams and visions can help us traverse
thunderous roads of rocky mountain feelings

Meditation on forgiveness recognizes that
letting go of emotional baggage is a healthy release . . .

Here’s to wishing everyone a sensitive, and high-minded perch
that balances equality between masculine and feminine energies!

See you up the trails,

Ari

And the Drum Beats on with Woodpecker

New weather patterns are here, and Woodpecker’s drumming synchronizes
with new beginnings associated with next Monday’s New Moon . . .

Spring’s new growth aligns with winds of change
happening today on this classroom known as Earth

Mercury in Retrograde remembers the ghosts of Winter’s passing

Time to revisit old relationships and memories
that have been hibernating underground

They are reminders of our old selves that are
climbing out of the darkness into the sunlight

This is a good time to examine dead wood in order to unearth new growth,
so that we can rise up with the tides as we
move toward the peak energies of Summer Solstice

We all need to find our own unique rhythms
that will help us traverse our budding New World . . .

How do we tune into our own drum beat, and at the same time harmonize
with the heartbeat of those in our outer social drumming circles?

Meditation on Woodpecker can help stimulate clarity and drum up the universal
feminine heartbeat of compassion . . .

Dig into the art of discrimination,
and analyze what you need to transform in your life

Do you need to cultivate new boundaries between your self and others?

Was there a time when your old habits,
and behavioral patterns were an engrained part of your identity?

Are you being given an opportunity to take a look at those myths about yourself,
so that you can let them go, and move into the new self you want to become?

See you up the trails,

Ari
